Beside having great ramen, I think the one thing I like is the fact that they are open really late. I do watch late night movies at AMC Del Amo and getting a late dinner wouldn't be harder without restaurants that open late, so +1 to that! ? The place look old, but don't worry, It is clean. On to the food:I thought the ramen texture was pretty great! Not too soft, a little on the hard side. Therefore, if you like your ramen a little softer, you could perhaps let the waiter (there was only one guy serving everyone) know ahead of time.Salt ramen:Not too salty. It tasted like your typical (the great ones) salt ramen. However you don't feel heavy afterwards because it is not too oily. The meat given was kinda sad though. I thought there were very little meat in the ramen. Egg was great! But if you are looking forward to runny egg? yolk then I am afraid you are out of luck.Curry ramen:This was great too! Smells really good and it definitely satisfies your curry craving!Kaarage:This was alright. Nothing extraordinary. They were kind of thick on the flour. You can give it a try nonetheless if you want some appetizers.Fried oyster:My girlfriend enjoyed them thoroughly! I didn't touch this because I am afraid of oysters !Overall, it was pretty great experience. I will definitely be back again! ?

The food here is awesome. good price. not fancy but really good

The waiter sat me next to the door of the business. There was people smoking outside. I let the waiter know if he could move us to the other side ( seating wise) because I have asthma he said no straight away. That I was imagining things and there is nobody smoking outside. And began chatting with other people making comments for asking. Me and my girlfriend left. Rude customer service. We just wanted to help their business.I recommend Tomizo Ramen !100% better service

Great cozy ramen place next to a karaoke bar. Great seasoning, noodles cooked just right. If you like it crazy spicy they got you covered! Croquettes are amazing, lightly crispy, perfect. Wonderful customer service! Our favorite ramen in the area and there are a lot.

Probably the least expensive ramen I've had in the area. The ramen was good and they come in large portions. The karaage, gyoza, and fried oysters are delicious!

The food was really so delicious and cool environment.

Yummy ?

This old ramen place is open late and you can drink also till late. The owner is a super nice older gentlemen, he doesn't talk to much but a nice guy. We hang out drink at the counter after ramen and he is okay with us staying little late.

Asa Ramen is one of my favorite places for ramen in LA, might very well be the best ramen around. Definitely make sure to get the Kotteri Shoyu Ramen and add a soft boiled egg. The croquette with curry is excellent too.

Great flavor, kind & fast service for good price
