This evening, I had some time off from work to eat and enjoy food. Coming from Louisville, where the best tacos pale on comparison to the worst tacos in California, I eagerly looked for a taco spot. Tacos El Bandido came up close to my hotel, so I jumped in my car and drove my starving self there. Let me tell you, these tacos were phenomenal! Carne asada never disappoints, but their guacamole and avocado salsa took these tacos to the next level! The owners were incredibly kind and their food was impeccable! 6/5 stars, if I’m honest. Do yourself, your stomach, your taste buds, and your heart a favor, and go get some of their food!
I ordered 3 tacos- lengua, asada, and gobernador- and 1 birria quesadilla. The gobernador is a shrimp taco with chipotle sauce and guacamole, and it was by far my favorite!! The chipotle sauce is very rich and creamy, and the shrimps were on the larger size. Portions were really good.I really love the quality of the meats, for all of my tacos, but was bummed that my birria quesadilla was not marinated in the consomé. Other birria tacos and quesadillas I’ve had at other places have the meat drenching in the consomé, so it did miss out on that added flavor. A simple fix is opening up your quesadilla and pouring your consomé all over before eating, which is a bit added work. Besides that, the cheese, the portion size of meat, and crunchiness of quesadilla were good.
Delicious food at affordable prices. They're open late. I love their home made corn quesadillas. They're birria is delicious. The only downside is that they don't sell drinks. You have to buy them from the liquor store that's in the same shopping center. Other than that, I highly recommend.
Took an hour for 1bacon hot dog & 2 tacos. Food wasn’t worth the wait at all.
We got tacos and Asada fries. Pretty good. Quick service and they packed it nicely to go.

Most defiently going to return to this spot. Family owned and they have great service. Stumbled upon this hidden gem cause it’s hard to find some decent tacos. Read all the reviews and saw the negative ones wanted to try this place out. Glad we came here. Their shrimp taco is fire. And everything here is great. Great portion for what you pay for. Their green salsa and red is pretty amazing. Will be returning here when we have a craving again. Def worth the stop. Go support your local business. Food is good. Carne asada Cali burrito is stuffed with some fries and equal amounts of everything. Their churritos are a great way to end the night. They are filled with filling lord mercy ima go into a coma cause the food is amazing Once again thank you guys so much.
