Ben a guest of ours who grew up in the West Bank and brought us to the Shawarma House. I ordered the premium mix grill plate and my son and his friends ordered fatoosh salads, every wrap, and combination plates. Ed shared with us that the herbs the Shawarma House cooks with tasted and reminded him of his childhood memories of when his grandparents use to cook for him and his family as a child back in Jerusalem.The owners remodeled their restaurant to include A/C and an outdoor seating, grill/smoker adorned with patio lights for casual vibe/ambiance. The location borders the Disney resorts which means the VALUE is AWESOME especially for a family of 3 or more who is seeking a more authentic, casual, and affordable dining experience. We recommend the Shawarma House to our family and friends and today we eat at the Shawarma House on the regular. Happy Eating ??
The food was AMAZING. 4 stars? To my taste I did not like the beef ? was taste less but my wife loves it, May be it’s just me but hummus, rice chicken etc was suuuuper… will I come back? YES. Great value (I got a family #2) and we eat a LOT AND COULD NOT finish it. So it’s fully worth the price!
The most delicious meat you can taste, a whole meat shawarma sandwich, along with a variety of irresistible sauces, in addition to the delicious cheesecake. I highly recommend it. Delicious taste, cleanliness and good handling?
When the late night munchies hit this place is good! I was in the mood for Mediterranean food and this place did not disappoint, the shawarma plate was good and filling, the condiments/sauces were also very good with the plate.
Pretty good food and generously portioned. The premium beef is definitely worth the upgrade. The normal beef taste a little bit acidic for some reason but other than that it’s a great meal
Place was not very busy when I arrived, food took almost 20 minutes to come out. I ordered the shawarma plate, when I opened the box it smelled absolutely delishish. They gave me very high quality plastic utensils to eat it with. Took my first bite and was immediately disappointed that the meat was so dry. There were a few pieces that were well cooked and they tasted amazing. The red sauce was good, not very spicy but had good flavor and didn't over power the dish. The salad was just plain lettuce, no dressing, no tomatoes, no onion nothing, just lettuce
Hands down the best hummus I have ever had! Smooth and delicious! As you can see in the picture, we ordered roughly 10 different items! The mixed grill toward the bottom had three types of meat which were delicious. The girls got shawarma sandwiches. Food was prepared fresh and it took awhile to come out, but was well worth the wait!
I'm actually surprised that this location has such great reviews. Maybe our dishes were a fluke since they were for take out but they would not warrant a 5 star review. We would not recommend this place nor return.Came in on a Saturday afternoon. It was a little busy but not bad. Ordered the Beef & Chicken Shawarma Plate and the Premium Mix Grill Plate to go. Both plates had generous servings of meat & rice. Each plate could probably serve 2 people. Unfortunately, all of the meat from both dishes were overcooked and extremely dry which made it difficult to eat. The rice, pita bread and salad were nothing special to report about. It's just too bad because I really wanted to like this place.
Wow! This place has some of the absolute best Mediterranean food I’ve had! The premium grill mix is AMAZING - freshly prepared, tender, flavorful, perfectly cooked chicken, lamb, and beef with perfectly prepared hummus, fluffy yellow rice, and salad. The falafels are good too!
Best and most authentic falafel, hummus and shawarma I’ve ever had in Southern California! We eat here weekly now, you will not be disappointed. Staff is very friendly and portions are big!
