This falafel is unlike anything I’ve ever tried; so soft and moist inside, the farthest thing from dry yet crispy on the outside. The garlic, pickles, sumac onion - it’s all super fresh. I tried their spicy hummus for the first time tonight …it was milder than their red sauce and had a ton of flavor. I always have a huge smile when I’m here because the energy is always so warm and I always get beautiful smiles in return. Definitely one of my favorite places I’ve visited in my few months living in Orange County; would consider driving 5.5 hours from Phoenix every once in a while just to have it again ?
Falafel just like the ones from the Middle East. Amazing ? best I’ve tried in the states.
Best taste ever . Customer service is at its peak . Please keep it up . Thank you for making my day yesterday :)
In short, the food is great and whether you’re Arab-American or other-American you will enjoy it.It’s just hard for us who grew up in the MENA because we are used to a certain flavor, crunch, smell, and texture.A bit more details…As soon as you walk in you are welcomed warmly and handed a free mini-falafel to get your taste buds ready. The staff are all fantastic and very welcoming and friendly. The first bite of falafel is really yummy. There is a bit of crunch which I like but I wish it had just a bit more. The flavors are great and ingredients are high quality. Fantastic aromas and textures. I wish you can get the falafel in a thinner pita wrap but this place is making it the Palestinian way so I’m just gona accept it as they serve it.The Ribeye on the Ribeye Fatteh was great but the fatteh underneath was not the best I’ve ever had. I think it had a bit too much Tahini and too little yogurt in the mix. I will let it be. They are doing a great job introducing our special foods to everyday Americans and I like that so I will encourage this place and not criticize too much bec we are not in the MENA and I’ll give it 5 stars.
This is hands down my FAVORITE Falafel Sandwich in OC. That's saying a lot since we have a lot of restaurants that serve Falafel in the area. The falafels are flavorful on their own but paired with the humus and garlic spread and all the different fresh zesty toppings, they're incredible! The service is phenomenal. They don't skimp on the toppings. Literally the young lady was doing all she can to squeeze in as much food for me as possible. One of my pet peeves is when you order a falafel sandwich and the only give you the veggies and garnishes at the top. So a few bites in and it's just falafel and pita bread. Here the garnishes and pita were stuffed to the brim so even on my last bite I was still getting veggies, falafel, and humus. The cashier was also super nice and was delighted to hear it was my first time here. There is no indoor sitting with only a few tables in front. There was a small line (went by really quickly) and all the seats outside were taken so I brought my sandwich to my car. The sandwich held up fine for takeout. This reminds me of my favorite falafel shop in NY next to Union Square. I'd walk 20 blocks after work to decompress, order a falafel and grab a window seat to people watch as the sun set over the city. The great thing about food is how it takes you back to specific moments in your life. I'm so excited I've finally found a spot just as delicious right here in OC.
Best shop ever so good 100/10 must try again
Wow. The best falafel in town. Palestinian owned. Taste is very authentic. Highly recommended for falafel lovers.
The moch donuts are awesome and great choices on their Korean hot dog selection.
Best falafel ever!! So crunchy! Portion is huge the bread is delicious and thick fresh pita. You choose your toppings from fresh salads and tahini and spicy sauces! Try maqalee w falafel sandwich (fried cauliflower and eggplants) Staff is super friendly and sweet! Wonderful experience all in all.
As soon as we started to order everyone was vary welcoming and generous, they started with giving us some samples of the falfel, everyone was very nice smiling and happy to serve us especially Mr Salah an awesome guy. We ordered the Falfel sandwiche with the fried vegetables and it was fantastically delicious. I was happy and enjoying every single bite I ate. Best Falfel in California.
