Cute decor but drinks are huge disappointment. If you had it back in Vietnam, don't expect it to taste the same. Other than that, it made my stomach upset too so definitely not coming back here, there are better drinks place in the area.
My partner and I both got the coconut blended coffee and we both loved it. The line moved quickly on this Sunday morning. The vibe of the coffee shop was nice and relaxing. I love my pastries so I was a little disappointed with the small selection that they had. I did end up with a slice of lemon cake and it was very delicious. I will definitely be back next time I’m at the farmers market.
Finally tried out this place after driving by and always seeing a line out the door. Decor is super cute. Lots of seats. I think it’s cute that they have the small chairs in the front off the sidewalk to mimic the coffee shops in Vietnam. Cute little touch. Service was not as friendly as I thought. The young lady taking our order seemed irritated that we didn’t know what we wanted. It was our first time so we took a little longer than usual. There was no one behind us and it wasn’t crowded but I still felt rushed.Drinks were refreshing and not too sweet. We ordered the Peach Black Tea, Lychee Lotus Tea, Phuc Long Milk Tea, and the Cloudy Lotus Jasmine Tea. We enjoyed them all minus the last one. It was mostly cream. You barely get any tea so it was very overwhelming. After two sips it’s all cream. The vibe is cute and most of the drinks were good. If I’m in the area and it’s hot, I would probably swing by.
Very nice tea house... The atmosphere looks very relaxed and awesome... I've ordered my the oolong milk tea and i think it's only ok but my friends wanted to come here to try...
Popular Vietnamese chain with strong coffee and tea. There's plenty of parking behind the building. A lot of Vietnamese students & expats hang out here. It's famous for its coffee but the tea is alright. The taste is average compared to 100+ tea places around here. Seating space is small and can be crowded on weekends. Overall, it's famous for the brand but not worth a visit unless your friends really like the taste.
Tea has actual tea taste, but for basic tea, it's full of ice and $6 a cup, too expensive for my liking. $3-4 is more reasonable and for God sakes less ice. Pictured is right after about 5 minutes and I had drank all the tea this is how much ice is in it...
We came as they just open on a Sunday morning, so obviously it's not crowded, yet the staff were fumble on everything from taking order, to charging payment, to making the correct order. As we were sitting down waiting for our drink, one of the staff came and told me since the internet was not connected correctly earlier so my payment didn't go through and ask if I can make the payment again. She assured me that if they see the double payments, they'll refund 1. Guess what, I checked my credit card statement a week later and there are double charge of the same amount and noone issued a refund or even contacted me for that matter. This left a very bad impression and we will not return to this place.
It tasted so good as what it was back in Vietnam. The coffee is strong and the aroma is really good, I love it. One cup of coffee and I had a whole awaking. However, the Phuc Long tea wasn't that good, it didn't have much of Oolong tea flavour but condensed milk and didn't taste like the same one in Vietnam. I hope they will listen and improve the drink in the future. The service is good, too. Really quick, friendly and very polite.
Had a chance to try their coffee Dua Da and milk tea and thought is was fairly decent. The coffee had a nice deep and balanced flavor. The tea on the other hand is just fair and didn’t taste like anything special. Prices are competitive with ok service. Staff are a bit depressed when taken orders and didn’t seem to want to answer questions. Other than that, it was fine.
It was my first time in Garden Grove and I wanted to try this chain in the U.S. and do a little review.I really like the ambiance and deco of the place, parking was pretty limited. The menu’s pretty pricey for such a small drink.I have to give this a 3 star because I was disappointed with my drink. I ordered a Phúc Long Milk Tea and the tea itself was great, mildly sweet and I could taste the tea; but my problem with the drink was that there was too much ice in it. I didn’t know how much ice baristas usually put in customers’ drink so I didn’t ask for light ice. It was basically 70:30 ice to tea ??My experience overall is okay; the only complaint I have is the ice. Please tone down with the ice.
