This local hangout is absolutely awesome! Could not be more pleased with the new management (Cindy)! Friends and I have been hanging out here regularly prior to Cindy taking over for years and although the atmosphere was great, the drinks seemed to be going downhill and the food was just mediocre bar food. Now, the mixed drinks are perfect every time... my favorite, Bulliet rye sour! My friends and I just had the sliders, chicken wings and wrap and each dish was absolutely amazing. The little hamburger patties were hanging off the buns they were so large. This is definitely my friends and families go to spot!
Went in on a Friday night stood at the door for about 10 min finally asked the security if I can put my name down on a list he said after 9 it was open seating I went to go sit at a table when I was told I couldn't sit there cuz that was for parties only(I was alone) then they told me there isn't a wait time cuz people sit around and listen to band

Last night was my first time here and it was great. Came with my husband to hang out and have a few drinks for date night and we had a great time. Live music was good, service was great and environment was perfect. Good vibes and crowd. This will definitely become a regular aside from our other favorite bar in Fullerton. This bar is closer to home which is convenient for a quick stop.
The table right in front of us was a giant Asian party, so my impression of the crowd there is probably biased. But overall, people were nicely dresses, minus a few stragglers that looked like they just came off the street on a whim.Overall, I'd definitely be coming back sometime. The ambiance definitely does it for me. I'm hate grungy dive bars...which apparently are the main staple of Garden Grove. On the Rocks Bar & Grill offered a chic-er atmosphere without all the pretentiousness.
I recently went here for a 40th birthday party and was very impressed with the place. At first it was a little overwhelming on what wines to taste, but the staff is very helpful - they are employees of the wineries, so they were very knowledgeable. The place is large and even though our group did not have the whole place rented out, a section of couches was roped off for our group. The food that was served was also very tasty. It was like visiting several wineries all in one night.
Tortilla soup was good. Nachos were good. Fries were ok, not the best. Wings were not that great. Wouldn’t recommend. Wings say jumbo but they’re super small. They have a good beer selection. Kitchen closes at 9:30pm.
Nice atmosphere in & outside. Menu offers complete dinners, or fun food for those that aren’t too hungry. Servers are pleasant, too. Casual & comfy neighborhood vibe.
This is a great bar, great restaurant and great sports watching venue. We had really good food, enjoyed a terrific atmosphere, and the drinks were excellent.My buddy ordered pizza and I had jambalaya
