The quail was probably my favorite, but all of the dishes we ordered had fantastic flavor. I totally recommend their kumquat house drink too! Fresh and tasty.Extremely busy and they will not seat you without your entire party, so be advised. Considering how packed they normally are, I was not expecting to become best friends with the servers, so I was pleasantly surprised at how fast and efficient the service was. I’ll definitely be back for more because their menu is huge!
Good place for seafood. The garlic oyster is really really fresh! The pineapple fried rice also has a great portion with a large amount of shrimp and squid. The fried calamari is also good despite too much flour outside. They also provise free dessert after the meal. This place is very popular. They have extra seat and waiting line if you choose to not have hotpot.
Oc & Lau is a must-visit any time I go to socal. Recommended to me by a Vietnamese friend of mine, the food here is ? certified authentic, SO DELICIOUS, and one of a kind in the states. Californians are spoiled to have this spot within reach!Steer clear of the hot pot / non-seafood red meat. Those are fine, but the seafood is the real star: why would you want to waste stomach space when you could be eating these out-of-parkers??Coconut milk snails, grilled shrimp, frog legs, steamed shrimp, and quail egg scallops were some of my favorites. The kumquat/coconut drink is also an amazing refresher to go along with the flavorful bites of seafood! After splitting it 6 ways I ended up paying ~$50 (we went all out). They also provide complimentary dessert which is always a delightful surprise. It's the best $50 you could spend though!!!
Excellent service and good food
Great food & awesome service!
The BEST seafood restaurant I have tried in US! Highly recommended to everyone who loves seafood. The grilled flavor is very special and very hard to find the similar taste around here.Very interesting to try Vietnamese seafood. There are more dishes I want to try. Definitely will visit again sometime soon.
Definitely a one of the best places to eat Seafood. They serve very quickly and they're meals are always served hot. Everything was delicious and my family and I absolutely loved the food here. They have nicely priced exquisite dishes. Everything is also nicely decorated and high tech. Will be coming here more often!
We loved the experience so much, we came back the 2nd day in a row to try more items on the menu! The best is oc huong nuong tieu den, my all time favorite! Lau (hotpot) was ok, and helps get you full if you’re on a budget; I’m sure it would have been better if we got the sea bass or bitter melon hotpot. Great place to hang, eat, and drink with family and friends. Highly recommend this place!
Good food. Fast service. Lines moved very quickly. Would go again.
This place is worth all the hype! They get busy really quickly when it’s meal time, but definitely worth the wait if you are a seafood fan. We absolutely love everything we ordered! The lobster udon and the hot pan seafood (clams, escargot etc) are so fresh and well flavored. You won’t regret coming here!
