Great food, great service! Great hustle & teamwork from every crew. It’s a small cozy place but the crew cleans up and sets up fast that next group of customers get to sit down just with a minimal wait. With one suggestion, name tags would be helpful. I know majority of the times all you hear is a customer complaint more than a customer praise. It would be helpful to give praise to specific employee but like I said the whole crew is awesome!

Great tasting broth really good service.

Clean and busy hotpot restaurant, on the pricey side. We get fried chicken for appetizer and the Mokkoji sampler for $95 (definitely an overkill for two ?) The fried chicken comes with radish and jalapenos. It's very crunchy and not the typical fried chicken coated w/ a doughy layer outside. As for the sampler they give us fatty belly, flat iron beef, shrimp, chicken, salmon, scallop, and some kind of meat paste thing. We order the original and the spicy pork broth. The broth tastes okay, nothing special. The original tastes like basic seaweed broth and the spicy pork broth is a mild version of the Shin Ramyun red ramen. As for the sampler, the best is the beef and fatty belly. They put garlic, green onions and vinegar soy sauce marinate on them and it definitely adds flavor to the meat. The seafood is fresh and nicely prepared so no complain there. However, the meat paste and the chicken are not good. They don't fit the rest of the sampler or the broth. The place will give you two dipping sauces, rice, udon and greens. The green is sadly little though they say they can refill it. The udon and rice are too much for the watery broth we have so we order ramen. Definitely get ramen if you can. Overall, it's not a bad experience but the ayce hotpot in Fountain Valley gives us wayyyy more options for everything. We probably won't come back.

The meat and broth were very good

It was ok. The broth was pretty flavorful, but for the price you can get way more food, and much nicer ambiance and burners at Slice I Huntington Beach. We thought we'd try somewhere new and ended up paying about $50 more than we do at Slice. The location is pretty trashy also. Someone came in the restaurant selling bags of oranges and some drunk women in the parking lot were fighting , which made the outdoor dining not so great. The outdoor seating is plastic tables and their burners look sketchy, especially sitting on a plastic table. 3 stars because the food was not bad but not memorable either.

Good ambiance. need to be early to get seated or call for reservation. love the place?❤️

The food not that great. The quality of the veggies was very bad, the enoki mushrooms brought out was dry, looked like it has been sitting out for a whole day. The broth is not very flavorful and the dipping sauce is bland at best. We had the sukiyaki with the full mix of beef

Enjoyed it but can be a bit pricey depending on what you get.

Meat quality was excellent and broths were tasty. Staff was friendly.

The soup was amazing. And perfect for the weather. Cute spot
