I ordered the shrimp tempura and beef bento box it was so good it's not cheap but it's well worth it I enjoyed the food very much it's one of the best places to get Japanese food I highly recommend this place.
Not really Japanese food to me . Espcially the Taste .I thought myself as a Chef Ramsay from TV shows.I would charge 1/3 of the price .
Sushi was great. Had a great selection on entrees to choose from. Just the restrurant needs an interior update but it's a casual Japanese dining experience.
Im a local, but only recently ate here for the first time. Loved it, though, its hands down the best japanese place ive eaten at in a long time. Its my favorite place in orange county, and the tempura is amazing. Their rolls are large too!
The quality of sushi is excellent. The rolls are excellent and the service is very friendly.
The garlic edamame is a must try, you will not be disappointed with the menu of options...but the spicy tuna roll ?.
This is my favorite new CA hangout. The staff are super knowledgeable with zero attitude. The prices are reasonable and the selection is amazing. The absolute best thing about it: spicy mac and cheese. There is nothing like it on this earth. Just get there early-ish if you want to sit down.
Oh boy, turns out it was NOT a good idea to have come here for the sushi. I got two orders of their nigiri sushi and the sashimi were very dry for some reason and the texture was also a bit chewy. Reminds me of the sushi you would typically get at one of those budget buffet place. Guessing the restaurant must have selected the lower grade of sashimi from their distributor. The rice used in their nigiri sushi was also undercooked and a bit hard, which was probably why it fell apart as soon as you you picked it up. I had to throw most of the rice away to not risk an upset stomach. It was also odd that the restaurant provided chinese Lee Kum Kee soy sauce instead of japanese Kikkoman. The chef/manager must not think their customers could tell the difference between the two.So basically I spent almost 50 bucks for pretty low quality sushi. Got to wonder how this place has a 4 star rating to start with. It definitely can't be for their sushi.
We enjoyed unagi sushi and shrimp BBQ on California roll sushi. Then, on to delicately deep fried tempura of shrimp and vegetables. Virtuously ate a lot of my little green salad, as I savor that tasty vinegar(?) dressing. Could barely eat a few bites of our chicken teriyaki, as we were already massively stuffed.
I guess you get what you pay for. Based on the rating I felt it should have been better but it's not unfortunately. We ordered salmon and other rolls. The fish itself was decent, pretty much on par or sightly worse than others at the price range. However the rice was stale!! I've always had nice smooth Japanese rice when eating sushi, even at lower priced restaurants. The salad and soup was average, hard to mess those up.On a non food related topic, one if the servers was obviously sick. Now this didn't factor into my rating but I feel I need to mention this, especially during these times. If you're sick, PLEASE STAY HOME, especially in the food business.
