Not really a fan of matcha but decided to give this place a try since it was in the same plaza as the restaurant we were eating at. I got the Peach Cloud (with lychee jelly) and my friends got the Matcha Cloud (with lychee jelly) and Matcha/Vanilla Soft Serve. Everything was so good. Not too sweet. Definitely worth a try!
Not a bad spot for a late night matcha fix. The special with Hojicha and Matcha came out delicious and well presented. It was a bit busy on a Friday night but worth a try. They do charge a fee when using electronic payment/credit card so bring cash.
Their customer service is pretty good. They have the best matcha iced latte and matcha soft serve. In comparison to other spots that sell matcha, this is one of the most authentic spots. You can actually taste the real matcha and they all of you would like some matcha powder on your soft serve. Their customer service is good, the ladies have always been friendly and patient. For all the matcha lovers, this is the spot to go.
I have tried many matcha cafe maiko locations. Always had very good experience.But looks like the matcha quality is not the same.They aren’t using the same good quality Japanese matcha and just using non Japanese or cheaper level matcha.When I asked for match powered topping I saw the topping was very brown. Usually good quality match powder is bright green.Probably they might be adding the color to the ice cream to fool people but sadly they can’t fool die-hard bright green matcha fans!!Not going to this location again.I suggest to increase the price of match buy use the Kyoto high quality match.
The soft serve matcha has decent matcha flavor with just the right amount of sweetness. Mochi balls and red bean add-ons are great.What went wrong for me was their tea. I asked to get my hot matcha ? unsweetened and was told I cannot because it's already premixed with sweetener. I was even more horrified to hear her microwaving my matcha tea in the back. I do not recommend wasting your time/money on low quality, premixed, and microwaved matcha tea here. You do not get what you pay for here when it comes to hot matcha tea.
Craving for matcha drinks and found this place around, and i remembered i like the one in rowland height location.-First impression walking in, see an employee look up and making drinks but did not say any words. So i just standing in the front of register. Its fine to let me wait but at least a greeting when customer walk in or just say hi ill be there. But good thing she doesnt take that long.- ordered the matcha latte float, price is $8.99 and if you pay with card or apple pay they charge additional .50cent and the total is $9.49 .Price is pretty expensive fot the quantity.It came out pretty fast, and looks beautiful. Below i attached the picture.- Now the taste was pretty weak matcha not as strong as i remembered from the one in rowland height. Also i tried to poke the straw into the cups it didnt get thru at all. I was like huh, and kept poking it but it cant get to the bottom. When the matcha float its gone, i can see a full cup of ice only. I also attached the picture.There no latte at all. So sad. Just the matcha ice cream on the top. And when i tried to drink it , it taste just water. I dont know if the enployee forgot to put the drink or it just how it is here. Super dissapointed.Sadly to say i wont come to this location again. But i will go to the one in rowland height instead.

Very solid showing in the green tea soft serve space, better balance between milk and matcha than most. But when it comes to green tea desserts, there's so much competition in the area now. If you're local, this is a good choice, and the menu has a lot of options. If your tastes skew "ceremonial", however, look to the north...
Very quick service. I actually was surprised by this promenade. There’s a lot of eateries and activities to do, it made it hard to pick a place for matcha. I usually go for matcha smoothies, but this place was unique (to me) because they offer soft serve matcha ice cream and they did not disappoint. Pretty good portion of ice cream and the vanilla mix adds the creaminess you’d get from a milk tea or smoothie. The matcha ice cream does have more of a water-based taste but I still enjoyed. The matcha powder sprinkle was a nice surprise.
If you are a huge fan of matcha like I am then you will absolutely love this place. First off, the girls working behind the bar are very nice and informative on their various item options. The interior is soo aesthetically pleasing and fits the “matcha” vibe. They offer everything from match soft serve to floats to milk tea boba. Anything your heart desires they most likely got it. The matcha is a dark green and concentrated therefore giving you a bold matcha taste and a proper caffeine boost to your day! 10/10 will be coming back.
