Went a few years ago and I actually enjoyed the food. Fast forward to Mothers Day 2022 and was not impressed anymore. A few youngsters pretending to be busy cleaning the same countertop but neglecting the floor area in the dining area with straw wrappers and crumbs littering the place. Food quality was bad. My porkchops were very dry and tasted like they were frozen for some time and I could taste water in the middle. I found it not worth the time to complain but wanted to do a review here. One or two workers could keep this place clean at all times so I don't know where found these young kids to work in a restaurant with no people skills.

Great food & service our waitress made us feel so at home...the sizzling porterhouse & ribeye were so tender, chicken soup was just like my mom's, salad crisp & fresh corned beef hash ?...we will be back????

A really cozy family friendly diner restaurant place. The nice thing about this restaurant is that it is open 24 hrs all day long. The food is good as well.

Family and I were visiting Cali and were looking for a spot for traditional breakfast. I really enjoyed our meal. Food was good and the server was so sweet and consistent. I seen so many regulars come in during that short period of time. It was definitely a welcoming environment.

Mae's is great if you're into ambiance. Ambiance is watching the waitress yell at the cook. They offer a porterhouse steak, which is cut half as thick as should be and will come to the table on a fajita-hot skillet well done, even if you ask for rare. So, meh.

Mae's Cafe!! I've been coming here since the mid 1990s when it was Jon's Coffee Shop. This was my high school hangout with my friends. The coffee is ground in-house and solid, the OJ is squeezed fresh, service is always good! The food isn't always 100% but let me tell you my favorites that have always done me right...! The omelets, strawberry waffle, any pancake meal, the eggs are always perfect, the side salad is served on a cold plate (classic!), good ranch!!, and the Frisco burger is delightful! Such an old school funky diner! The bathrooms are funky in a bad way (they're ew) but my nostalgia and good experiences outweigh anything that isn't up to par. For a diner that feels like home, good short order cooking, this place is great. Don't get crazy when ordering here, stick to the good ol basics!

A mom and pop neighborhood diner. The food is similar to Denny’s. It’s inexpensive and one of the few places that serve lyonnaise potatoes which are thinly sliced potatoes pan fried with thinly sliced onions.I got eggs Benedict with extra crispy hash browns. Nothing special. It’s just on English muffin with ham and two eggs with hollandaise sauce for $10.95.The bf got country fried steak with lyonnaise potatoes and his sister got BLT.

Spanish omelet was amazing.Nice surprise.5.50$ for a plane thin waffle. Ridiculous

Some of the best blueberry pie I've ever had!

Old fashion coffee shop with great menu. Except they serve excellent steaks with their breakfast, instead of regular breakfast place's too chewy cheap steaks. Great surprise.
