I had the spicy sundaeguk and it was so delicious. I came around lunchtime noon on a Saturday. The side dishes were delicious. The kimchi was superb. One of the ahjummas even asked me if I wanted extra which is just like how they do it in South Korea.Portions were great as you're left feeling satisfied.Overall highly recommend for some traditional Korean food. I'll be coming back to this location to try out different foods for sure.감사합니다!

Went there the first time and I love whetted dishes we ordered plus the banchans!- seafood soft tofu soups(meat, veggie, etc)Ordered medium spicy and it was perfect for me, lots of seafood inside, such as shrimps, clams, oyster and more- Beef BulgogiOne of a must order dish in Korean restaurant isn’t it?- GalbiMy favorite dish at all the time, you will never go wrong with Galbi.- Grilled MackerelGrilled mackerel fish with lemon and soy sauce.- 2 Bibimbabs:Mushroom & KajuMeat lover or more veggies please? Both Bibimbabs are really good, I m not vegan but the mushrooms one is one of my favorite, I can’t remember exactly how many kinds of mushrooms inside, if you love mushrooms, give it a try! Not to mention the regular Bibimbab. OhX don’t forget to add the spicy sauce to your pot then mix it well before you enjoy it.- Banchan side dishesLove free banchan dishes when you go to Korean restaurant. Kaju’s banchans won’t let you down either. Home made kimchi, potato salad, fish cake salad( my favorite) , Bean Sprouse salad and the sweet and spicy cucumber.Recommended this place if you wanna some Korean tofu, make sure the check it out when you are in the area!

I always love going to this location with my boyfriend! We've been going here since high school and it hasn't changed in quality since! We typically share the meat that comes with the combo I get and he orders another tofu soup for himself. Sadly, they always seem to have a price increase. That doesn't stop us from dining here because the experience and nostalgia is priceless!

Do not eat here unless you enjoy throwing away your hard earned money. One star was too much for this restaurant. Me and my co worker order beef rib combo. The bill was $61.97 after tax. The rib had bigger bones than the meat .It so tough I threw away most of it. They have no shame charging people that kind of money. It was worst experience ever. Do not eat here.Try BCD tofu right down the street instead. Yuck!

Been eating here for many years. The customer service and food quality are very excellent (taste, texture, temperature, smell, appearance) and consistent. I would recommend eating in-person to get the best experience and freshness of the cooked food. The soups, meats and bibimbap (rice dishes) are on point in seasoning and cookery. The sides are very good as well, especially if you appreciate good quality kimchi. The wait times can be very long, so I recommend using their Wait-list feature on Yelp (or online) to see your status until you get a table, however, the restaurant is pretty bad about enforcing people to remove themselves from the list if they decide not to eat there (because of the wait time or whatever), therefore, I recommend to also go there in person to ask about what the wait time really is as you point out your place in the Wait-list. If you do not want to deal with lines, then you can order the food for pickup/delivery, which I have done before, food is still great, but if you get bibimbap, the rice won't get slightly toasted since there is no hot stone bowl to continue heating it up after the food is brought out like in-person. The pricing is about $10-12 per main dish/plate, so decent for what you get. Definitely one of the best Korean restaurants in Orange County in my book and easily recommended to those that want to have a good meal.

We came in to order takeout food when the store just opened. And we waited for more than 30mins and still got no foods while they served dine-in customers. When we came to ask how much longer the wait would be, they just ignored us and walked away with no answers. How rude! And even when they brought the takeout food bags out to put them in takeout cubbies, they didn’t even let us know our orders were ready. We had to look from outside and walked in to check the labels of those bags.

Great food Great service Good price

This is my go to spot for Korean Tofu Soup. They can accommodate and make it spicy without making the broth too bitter. Only down side is that this restaurant is either dead and empty or busy as heck. Good luck trying to figure out the off peak hours. Make sure to waitlist on Yelp on your drive there which helps with cutting down on the wait time! Service is hit or miss but there’s a cute little Latina lady that is honestly just the sweetest. Unlikely but I hope she sees this shout out.

Awesome kalbi, bulgolgi, banchan and tofu soup! Spicy was not too spicy, perfect. Great rice. Love the cucumbers in chili.

Was a bit disappointed overall, service was fine for this type of place but the food was a let down. Everything lacked flavor. The bibimbap was so bland that I even after pouring all the sauce and adding some of the pork bulgogi, it still just tasted like roasted rice. The bulgogi wasn't terrible, but definitely not spicy and the sundubu was fine, but BCD is definitely better. The sides were okay, some better than others. Overall, I'm sure it's acceptable to some but there are better options out there.
