It is hard to find good Hu Tieu places in Little Saigon so I'm really thrilled to find it here. I live close by and ate at this location several times back when two other owners operated here. The first owner served pretty good Hu Tieu but the broth was lacking that authentic Tieu Chau flavor which comes from grilled squids. The first owner moved to a different location so a second owner took over, and the second owner served very average Hu Tieu. This new and third owner does very good Hu Tieu and their broth is exceptional. The aroma is just true Hu Tieu broth from Cholon Vietnam where all the Tieu Chau folks hung out. Anyway, if you're a big Hu Tieu person, do check this place out.

Better than expected on first visit, became our go to quick food.Tucked away in a small Korean strip mall but easy to find.Food: I'll say this first hand, it is GOOD but NOT 100% AUTHENTIC. You can find more authentic options elsewhere, but this is the comfort and solid adaptation of hu tieu for the American palate.Meat: pork belly. Good choiceShrimp: big, PEELED, not soggyBroth: not much MSG i can taste, the flavor comes from seafood stockQuail egg: prob canned, since there's kinda a weird aftertaste but that's just me.Hu tieu dai: kinda more like mien since it's clear cellophane appearanceMi: good, get dry hu tieu mi bowl because noodles soak in the sauce very well and will not get soggy quickly like soupPrice: $10 each bowl, $4 for corn milk.
