Salty, bad service, food quality not worth the price
Come back here after few years to give it another try. Seen empty tables but it took them awhile to have us seated. And again at the tables it took to long to have the waitress come to our table to take the order and after another long wait to see our order severed to the wrong table and the waiter did not gave us the foods after we and the other table told him that is our order, instead gave us He brought it back to the kitchen, we have to told our waitress and she went to the kichen and came back with one my wife's order only, we did not saying anything and trying to share the food and wanted to finish it without mention about the other order, but they brought it out right after we almost finished my wife plate. The foods are good not bad, I would give it 4 stars, but the service is need more improvement.
Awesome Vietnamese food. Very modern yet traditional. Absolutely delicious. kind and friendly service. Plenty of parking.
We decided to try the famous restaurant that my circle of friends have been talking about. We came in at 6 and tried to order their ribeye and it was already sold out. A bit disappointed, so we ordered the Chateaubriand Steaks, House special beef noodle soup and Srafood curry. The steak were a bit chewy to my husband liking. The beef noodle soup didn't have meatballs like it was described on the menu. The service was great and what add this review higher.
I am very please with the quality of food and service of Bordard staff. We miscounted our party and they able to compensate for the move for larger tables immediately. The server took our order very smoothly and the food comes out very fast. The food quality was excellent and the taste was perfect. Perfect is a word that I use very rare because their food is very flavorful but none of them taste in extreme realms for your palettes (too Salty, too sour, etc...).
One of the better- known Vietnamese food restaurants in Southern California. I have been wanting to come to this restaurant for awhile until today when our friends from SF invited us here for dinner.True to its reputation, Brodard Chateau is one of the most authentic Vietnamese restaurants in the Orange County region. The dishes they offered here tasted amazing. Some of the original Vietnamese foods that are in the menu can only be found in this restaurant. We went crazy on ordering our favorited Vietnamese food such as shaking beef, bun salad, Nam spring roll, Banh Xeo, and more. All of the food were crazily delicious. I like the shaking beef the best. The flavor was very authentically Vietnamese. Shaking beef or beef lok lak is a French-inspired Vietnamese and Cambodian dish that consists of beef sauteed with cucumber, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, pepper, and soy sauce. The beef is cut into small cubes the size of playing dice before being sauteed. With the veggies balancing out the strong flavors of the sautéed beef, the combination was a very tasting dish. But all other food were excellent too. You would not regret ordering any dishes. The prices were reasonable too.The service was not too bad. They were very responsive and friendly. Our waitress changed dirty dishes for us frequently. The building that house the restaurant is aesthetically a beautiful Asian inspired structure. At first I thought it was more of Cambodian style house. It’s very easy to get to the restaurant as it’s right next to freeway 22 and In N Out burger.
Alway my choice to take friend and family to Brodard Chateau. Very nice place to dine, great services, foods are good. Many different dishes you can choose, from appetizer to main dishes, from Northern Việt Nam to Central, and South Việt Nam dishes.Highly recommend it
First time trying this place and we got every spring roll on the menu!! They were so accommodating and so nice. The waiter said I could order everything and I did. What a great experience and great place to go to after a long days of work
This is a very well-known Vietnamese restaurant frequented by OC locals who know great Vietnamese food. The food is not only made with fresh ingredients but it’s also delicious! They have a wide variety of dishes to suit your mood or appetite level. For a late lunch, we ordered the Grilled Pork Spring Rolls, the Salt-Pepper Calamari, Beef Salad and the “Hue” Style Vegetarian Noodle Soup. But we could have gone on and on with how delicious everything was.For other greats by the Dang family, check out Brodard and Bamboo Bistro.
The food here is pretty good but not spectacular. This is fancier than the regular Brodards and all the good stuff I like can be found there. So I’m definitely going to the other place exclusively from now on.
