I wish I could give it zero star. They asked me to wait for them to get the duck from next door, Lien Hoa BBQ. Then, they charged me $29.5 and ++. If you go to Lien Hoa BBQ, only $23 for the same thing! Stay away!
My friend and I came back to Baos Hogs for lunch today. We both wanted the Hainan Chicken with dark meat (our favorite) but it was sold out at 11am. Wow! We had to get the white meat. We even asked for extra ginger sauce. It’s really good. The chicken is as tender as expected. Rice was cooked nicely. We’re slightly disappointed because the chicken was a bit salty this time. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. We’ll definitely come back again.
No wait and quick service on a Saturday afternoon. The food looked and tasted awesome! Service was phenomenon!Each entree was provided with different sauces, Bolsa/Heo Quay Bao and Duck Bao and Char Siu Bao and Boss Bao were yummy!Check out Baos Hog if you're in the area!
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I ordered the Boss Bao and I think it was the best thing I have eaten in a long time. The pork was succulent and had such good flavor, not to mention is was only $4! I've already told my colleagues how good it is and will definitely be going back to try the other Bao buns.

Really great little hole in the wall in Garden Grove off of Brookhurst, really close to the 22 Freeway for easy access. The parking lot is a little crazy and people drive up right next to the shop, so be careful when you step off the curb!The food is really fantastic. Freshly made, very large, fluffy bao and huge portions on the fillings. We went two days in a row because we were so impressed the first day. The girl who helped us the first visit was amazingly friendly. The boy the next day not so much, he also got our order wrong, but you really can't get anything bad here, so we weren't that bothered, although they did forget the one item I was craving the most.Our favorites: Duck Bao which is $4.50, but huge pieces of duck, so worth the money; Boss Hog Fries (choose between pork or beef, comes with sauces, cilantro, and onions), cauli fries (you should get 12 orders of these so no one fights or dreams about them); Fish Bao.Definitely going to keep eating here!
Good food great price except for parking
The different choices of meats was good and the portions were huge. We tried the pork, duck and crispy chicken and they were all amazing. When you take a bite you taste so many flavors from the meat to the veggies to the sauces. The price was not bad also for the portions we ordered.
Great food all around and super quick!
This was a great find in a cool little part of town. The food was excellent. We searched 'best steamed buns in L.A.' and this is where Google maps brought us. It was totally right. The place is a modern little bun shop with good drink options. We got the Duck and the two Pork options. Would recommend all of them highly.
