Called on Friday at 6am to order for pick up. I ordered 3 Grilled Pork and 1 Grilled Chicken for my colleagues. When I arrived in less than 10 minutes, the sandwiches were ready. My colleagues had it for the 1st time and they all said it was really good. I also wanted some sesame balls, but they didn’t have any which I was surprised. I’m not sure if I’m supposed to order those ahead. The prices have increased but it’s understandable.
They have the best Vietnamese egg rolls here and they sell for only $0.65 ea.
It's pretty good and opens early. Sandwiches are standard fare. People behind the register are nice, but pretty busy (doing double duty). Prices are in line but no bargain. The coconut dessert from the standing lobby fridge was excellent.
Not happy with the customer service. Ordered a bunch of sandwiches for a party, asked for butter on the side and they would not accommodate my request. I asked them to charge me for a little container of butter but was told I had to buy a big gigantic container instead.
Banh mi was good. Will come back.
Great baguettes! The sandwiches are amazing and it all starts with their amazing baguettes. Prices are ok, I think about $6 a sandwich, which I believe is the norm. Definitely coming here for my banh mi
Fantastic banh mi spot! Pork belly banh mi and the Pate Chaud(pastry) was our favorite.Go to this one over the one on Bolsa. This place is bigger and the parking is easier. We got the pork belly, grilled pork, and the pork roll. An order of the egg roll and an order of the pate chaud. We ordered near the end of the day, so the bread exterior was getting a little chewy(our fault). Otherwise, the pork belly was tender and well seasoned, salted and a bit like 5 spice, I tasted some sweet, could have been hoisin. The grilled pork tasted like lemon grass and had a good amount of sauce. The egg roll was a bit dry(again end of day), seemed like it would be solid fresh! The pastry was super flaky and the pork reminds me of the Vietnamese pork bao filling. Place is solid and I would come here again!
They have good grilled pork sandwiches. Currently, if you buy two of their round sandwiches, you get one free. It is 80 cents per plain round bread and $1.50 per plain baguette. Sandwiches are $5.50 each except for their pork belly one. Their hot sandwiches come out hot unlike some places. Their chicken sandwich is on the dry side. Their steam buns and patechaud are also buy 2 get one free. However they aren't that good.
Grilled Chicken is not actually grilled, more like pulled.
Good sandwiches and Hopefully they will maintain the quality of the sandwiches
