This is the best place to go for Banh mi perhaps in the entire state of California. Everything is made fresh and and the taste is amazing that you will not find in any other location including Alhambra. I will drive to this location from Alhambra because the shop with the same name can't make the same Bahn mi. This one in Garden Grove, CA is far but it's a big operation and there is also a line most of the time. And my favorite Vietnamese dessert "Che troi nuoc" with the yellow bean core. Trust me not all Banh mi is the same, and this is one of the best outside of Vietnam. It makes the Lee's sandwiches cry!!! LOL
Crowded, but to-go food is reasonably priced to cheap. The food is good. Some like bánh đúc, bánh bèo, bánh ước, etc. are reminiscent of Vietnam. Tourists will like them as these "junk food" remind them of their childhood Vietnam. All in picture was $18.25.

This Vietnamese to go spot is always packed and for good reason. Banh mi sandwiches have a buy 2 get one free deals here. Can also buy fresh French baguettes here too. There’s also plenty of typical Vietnamese to go food like goi cuon and other options as well as che tea. Be ready to order fast as it gets pretty hectic there.

They started doing the 1 way traffic due to covid, making it a bit more organized. The food is average compared to other Viet places in the area. This place has 2 advantages: low price, and they pretty much have all kinds of street food/quick for grab kinds. Hygiene wise - to the American standard they're about average, also. The sandwich making station looks a bit more organized and cleaner than before. They have the label for the sandwiches now (I only got 1 out of 6 sandwich labeled, but still...)

choose somewhere else. bad management, service. gave us all half of our orders poorly made. seriously don’t go to any of their locations it’s awful. especially through postmates. i picked up a delivery and these guys couldn’t even figure that out. also the dude had his cell phone listed as his contact and got mad at me for calling him?
