Stopped by to get a quick drink.. Bartender was friendly.. drinks were good.. planning on coming back to try the food..
We came to this restaurant for dinner. my friend recommended this restaurant. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff members welcomed us with a smile and we had a great feeling. The meal was yummy. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Warmly recommended.
This spot is the one I always prefer. I visit a lot of restaurants but to this one I go the most. The stuff is very welcoming and the cuisine they place on your table is so tasty. I never miss an opportunity to have a nice dinner here. Highly recommended.
This is a nice place to hear live music. The bartenders and wait staff were super friendly and efficient. I had eaten dinner before heading out but some of the folks that were sitting near me ordered up and the food looked great!
Lettuce wraps are f'ing delicious. Bartender Bob is cool guy. Good food, drinks and karaoke on Wednesday. Perfect combo.
Great blues/rock band tonight! good crowd on a Saturday night. Haven't tried the food yet.
Karaoke Tuesday night is great!
Great atmosphere, delicious meals.
WOW food, bar & service on it... maybe best live music in dntn Fullerton?
Open since 2003, Ziing’s Bistro and Bar is located in downtown Fullerton on Harbor Boulevard between Amerige and Wilshire Avenues. It is not an authentic Chinese restaurant, its cuisine is Asian fusion; in fact, they boast that they offer “the finest in Asian cuisine with western touches.” NOTE that Ziing’s is not open for lunch, only dinner, and is currently closed Sunday and Monday. With its two full bars, Ziing’s is actually best known locally as part of the vibrant local club scene. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 10:00 pm Ziing's transforms into a nightclub that features two large rooms, one for DJ-driven Top 40 hip-hop and a separate room for electronic dance music. Ziing's claims to have the largest dance floor in downtown Fullerton and one of the only local nightclubs that provides full VIP Service and Bottle Service. When you enter Ziing’s, it immediately becomes obvious what drives their business. Other than the booths against the walls, there is little to suggest that it is a restaurant. The lighting is dim, the bars are extremely prominent, there are no tables to clutter what will eventually be the dance floor and the décor is limited (almost stark). On our visit our family of four adults ordered Lemon Chicken, Dragon Noodles, Orange Fire Chicken and Jade Chicken Salad. The food was well-prepared and tasty, but we couldn’t help but notice that the three hot dishes all had similar ingredients (particularly the vegetables used in the stir-fry) and somewhat similar flavor profiles, so the dishes weren’t terribly distinctive. The salad was good, but the pieces of boneless chicken were so large that the salad required a knife and fork to eat it. The portions were generous and the prices were fair. The service was very friendly and helpful. We summed up our experience at Ziing’s as “fine,” but “fine” means that we probably will not go out of our way for a return visit.
