Portion size good if you like a lot of food, chicken over cooked.
This restaurant needs some serious quality control. I ordered grilled chicken and received raw chicken slathered in sauce. Peri rice was also stale. Manager on duty night of July 4, 2022 should be held accountable. I've brought home food multiple times and found items were missing.It was not always like this. Manager in 2019 always made sure the quality was excellent.
Great place. We ordered the ribs, burgers and tenders. The chicken and the beef burger were both great and different. The order took time but was so worth it since everything was so fresh. We were initially getting take out and didn't tip. And even though we were there at almost closing time, they let us dine in. They got the food out for us and even gave us wings on the house. Thank you Matt and team for your wonderful service. We'll be returning. :)
Tried this place with my family for the first time, and it was delicious! Great ambiance with ample seating. Ordered Peri Cajun spice, and although we like spicy foods, this was how it was labeled, a level above “hot”. Still, food was delicious! Next time we’ll go for a level or two down. Looking forward to trying the ribs next time when available!
I was about to bring my whole family here but looking at some of the reviews, I will no longer be going. One person posted a picture of being served burnt chicken and they replied by saying that it looked fine to them when he clearly stated that the chicken was raw, and it was BLACK. PORT OF PERI PERI PLEASE TAKE customers feedback into consideration and apologize rather than becoming blind.
Burnt and undercooked chicken. Worst ever chicken in my life. I am sleeping hungry tonight. Might be having stomachache in the night because of eating of some of their burnt and undercooked so called Chicken.They don't even deserve one star rating.
Food is good. Prices are reasonable. The only reason i gave 3 stars are because of incomplete order for take out. Already happened twice in a row. First time found out after got home and look for food and didn't find it. Second time opened up the order to confirmed if any order missing and for sure 3 items were missing.Make sure for take out orders, check your order before leaving. Other than that like the food. Good options.
Too spicy for our tastes. Chicken has very generous servings but was dry if ordered plain. We expected bread or fries with the chicken but only received a bowl with the pieces of meat!?
New management. Food is REALLY good. Quality of chicken has improved a lot compared to the previous ownership. Good service too.
I don't know how they can justify $18 for half a chicken, when the price of a whole halal chicken RETAILS for $12-$18 (wholesale will be less).Is the justification that the total overhead is so exorbitant that they need to charge potentially more than double to make some profit? Sorry, but I'm going to call shenanigans on this.The establishment should not exploit the fact that they are a halal option to seriously overcharge for food.
