This review is not to demean the restaurant... it's to give them an opportunity to improve for their patrons.1. I've noticed the floor can get a bit slippery. They can resurface or deep clean their floors for safety.2. The bathroom needs a bit polishing.3. More images on their menu to give others what and how it looks like.4. Phone reservation sucks... we called and the lady said we're good. Had we did not shown up early, we'll be having our dinner late. They did not put my wife's name on the list.5. Food is definitely great!6. Crew/servers are courteous and nice!
My wife and I had not visited The Old Spaghetti Factory for some time and never had the pleasure of this Fullerton location. This visit was great for our lunch and after a brief invited invitation to self- tour the location we were treated absolutely wonderfully. Service was excellent, food was appropriately portioned for our needs and deliciously prepared. The restaurant location was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We’ll hopefully see you again.
I was invited to celebrate someone’s 70th ‘Bearthday’ in style by dining at Old Spaghetti Factory in Fullerton. The restaurant is in a classic Union Pacific Train Depot, and located next door to the functioning Santa Fe Depot, where Amtrak and Metrolink operate train and commuter rail services. I came here for dinner after work on Thursday, May 12th and actually arrived early. I waited for the birthday party to arrive, and we waited 30 mins to get seated (Definitely call-in to reserve in advance or expect to wait) The food was exceptional, I had their “Meat Lovers” Spaghetti dinner, with salad and sourdough bread. It was very good and quite filling! The vanilla ice cream was a nice touch, and though I was ‘stuffed’ - I still had room for ice cream. Service was excellent in all aspects. It was great to celebrate Mark’s birthday, and being with these two guys (Rod and Mark) who are well known in “The Fandom” was a treat all to itself!! Been coming here for years. I love the food. But they MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE EVERY TIME! They bring the salads out and then 3 minutes later they bring the main course. I appreciate quick service, but why do they only give me 3 minutes to eat a full salad? Here is the thing, I ALWAYS TELL THEM TO GIVE ME AT LEAST 10 MINUTES TO EAT MY SALAD BEFORE THEY BRING THE MAIN COURSE. BUT THEY NEVER LISTEN! FRUSTRATING! Look at my attached photo and you can see I have only eaten 1/2 my salad and the dinner is now getting cold.
Disappointed service was good but the food wasnt.wasn't. The meatballs were burnt. Lettuce wilted and the dip was duper dry.
First time trying Old Spaghetti Factory. Very tasty and did I not leave feeling stuffed like pasta dishes can do. Would I come again or recommend? Yes.The only improvement would be seating a group of 6 adults in a booth scrunched together...a table would have been more appropriate.

Place has so much old world charm and top notch customer service. It's always a pleasure visiting and so far everything I've ordered has tasted amazing.
So sad to say I have been coming to the Fullerton location since I was a kid. Now I am in my 30's and I can tell they cut cost and quality in the food. Maybe it's the way they make it but you can definitely not taste the freshness. So sad that this is the way it has to be now. I have to find another favorite Italian restaurant.
Consistently good pasta. Always fun and vibrant; a bit noisy because it's usually full on weekends. But we only waited 10 min to get seated. Lots of room to sit and people watch while waiting. My first time at one of these must have been some 50 years ago. And they are still the same. That's a comforting nostalgia. Fullerton crew was fast, accurate, and friendly. Great place for family, a birthday, office event, or a friend's night. Can't go wrong.
