Reasonable price for what you get.Bar is packed on Friday. For good reasons. Margaritas ? can go toe to toe with any of the fancy places but without the extra money. Don't change your formula and I will keep coming!!!
Ordered a beef enchilada and received a shrimp enchilada. When I told the waitress she showed me she wrote down shrimp without offering to correct the situation. I'm 100% certain I did NOT order shrimp. I asked her to bring me a beef enchilada and to my surprise she billed me for it.I paid the bill as I was so frustrated I didn't want to confront the waitress a second time to plead with her to correct what she should have initially.I didn't eat the shrimp enchilada. This seems like service 101 and could have been avoided very easily. She apologized multiple times, but still billed me..What am I missing here ?
Really good food! I had a chicken taco, shredded beef enchilada, and cheese enchilada with rice. The only thing that was not appealing was the rice. It had no taste and was very mushy.My husband had Super Mex Nachos and those were really good, too. It was a great entree in itself. We had a cheese quesadilla for an appetizer, which was also good. If they added chicken to it, I think it would be even better!
Family-friendly restaurant with room for big groups. The salsa is great! Just make sure not to get full and miss the other great good food!
Amazing food, drink, music, service, and overall ambiance!! The chimichangas were crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside?. The fajitas were flavorful, the beans were nice and cheesy, the guac was amazing. Very very good food. The drinks were a bit pricy, almost $5 for a strawberry lemonade but my partner said he it was super good so he was happy. The margarita was $8 but its big and comes with chamoy and tajin so thats good. They have complimentary tostadas and salsa which are also very tasty and flavorful.I will say it is a little pricier than I was expecting but you pay for everything I just mentioned so I didn't really mind. Overall 10/10 would recommend!!
All the things I have tried at this location has been very delicious and I have never actually been to a restaurant where every time you come back its the same great authentic flavor and then some!! This is the only place where I can say that and yes ill be back soon!
We had excellent service tonight! I hadn't been here in years and forgot how good the food was! I had the mini chimi's and did the 2 beef and 2 chicken. I liked both but if I had to pick one over the other, I think the chicken had a slight edge over the beef. Overall, a perfect evening!
Went to SuperMex in Fullerton on Orangethorpe. Ordered the shredded chicken enchiladas with double rice. The chicken tasted like it came out of a can. Not very good. The salsa for the big tortillas you break up into chips was too spicy. Like "burn your mouth and has no flavor" spicy. The tortillas were dry and crunchy without much flavor. The rice was dry and bland. Nothing they served really impressed me enough to want to return. They give you a fork and a knife, but no spoon. Their napkins are small and scrawny. They do not offer stevia for those of us who can't have sugar, saccharin, aspartame, or Splenda. And the server kept interrupting our conversation to "check up on us to see how we were doing", adding the words: "no rush".I must say, I felt rushed, but that ended up being OK, because the food wasn't even worth taking home in a container. Gordon Ramsey would be disappointed and disgusted. Just another place that isn't as good as it used to be.
Supermex is always on point but this location is my all time favorite. The staff is friendly and really makes the visit enjoyable. I have never had bad service here in all the years I been to this location. This is also the only location that I can order a supermex sunset, so yummy. I recommend this place to check out with friends and family.
