Excellent cajun gravy and mashed potatoes. Great chicken tenders. Slow drive thru. Wish the chicken tenders were served hot from the fryer.
It is honestly amazing how often they screw up me or my family's order. Every single time, except maybe once, something has been wrong. Unfortunately this is the only Popeyes around that's close, and when the food is good, it's real good which is the only reason we go back. Like the only way to make sure something isn't wrong is to be firm with them which I don't wanna be! I wanna be cool with fast food workers but like, this is a reoccurring thing! Really hope a new manager or something gets put in cause I really want to like this place.
Long wait times when it's not busy.Food is great sometimes, sometimes its way off.Honey packets are sticky.Regarding value, its a bit over priced for what you get.
Love that chicken!!!However the service was just awful. It took about 30 min just to get their advertised special. Because they did not have the breasts. If you advertise and sell me the advantage of getting the 11-pc special posted shouldn’t you be ready with the pcs that go with it? I think I saw their manager - pawing 2 of the hapless helps. Poor management
Disorganized and messy. They constantly give you the wrong order, mess up orders, etc. I asked for a 3 piece chicken combo with red beans and rice and french fries with another tenders combo. Of course my lazy family member didn’t check the order before coming home - they gave us all tenders, and 2 cajun rice, with a mountain of sauces. Between them and my family, I give up. They clearly just threw the order together and I can’t trust my family to have the common sense to check. You really have to go inside and watch them prepare your food - DO NOT USE THE DRIVE THRU!
Food was fresh and hot and the staff were incredibly calm and professional as people yelled at them about orders taking so long. Dropped one star for management to staff accordingly - your team deserves better
We have come here several times, since it is the closest to home. But have learned to just drive to the La Mirada location. It is appalling that they insisted on charging for sauce, but then didn't include it in the bag. This has happened a couple of times. I have started holding up the drive-thru line to ensure I receive everything, and everything is correct. The food here, in my experience, doesn't compare with other locations.
Popeyes is never a great experience but I try again and again because my family loves the food. I have a large family of ten so my orders are large. I get how that can be upsetting because I don’t like cooking myself. I do not expect to be treated badly over this but tonight I was scolded left and right and then called named by someone I could only presume was a manger in his collared shirt.
Tonight the 3rd time I've gone and they're out of food. I ordered a regular chicken sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich, chicken nuggets, apple pie and a Dr. Pepper with their app. When I got there, the ONLY item they had was the apple pie. No chicken of any kind and not even soda! The manager told us to get a refund with the app but refuses to show us how. It's our problem, not his. Horrible attitude and even worse logistics. How can a chicken restaurant be out of chicken?!
Worst of the worst customer service ever I experienced ??, especially a guy who looks like a manager, he seems like he doesn't want to serve in the first place even before I ordered.I ordered two Combos, but in a seconds, I wanted to change just Sandwich Only for one of Combos, but he told me I touched two fountain drink cups, so I told a manager I touched only one cup but he said "you can't return two Combos since I already placed two cups at cashier even if you didn't touch them, you can't return it" it's horrible experience. I will NEVER go to this place again, I would go to Chick-fil-A instead from now on.
