Best family owned and operated diner in Fullerton. Reasonable prices and great staff. Wish they had earlier hours so I could visit more.
We love Nicks! Our neighborhood burger place, our go to for the burger combo, they are friendly and always super accommodating. I usually lettuce wrap my burger and it's genuinely tasty this way! Their fries are the fat steak fries, my favorite, and they have fairly good fried zucchini (sufficiently salty, enough zucchini though a little bit bready). My husband loves their chocolate shakes though. All others pale in comparison- lots of burger restaurants taste like vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce. Nicks tastes like Thrifty chocolate ice cream of which hubs is a big fan. Their beef veggie soup is warming and tastes home made- get it when it's soup of the day. Haven't tried anything else- just addicted to our regular order! Call ahead and quick pick up! Support your local small business!
Been coming here since the early 2000s. Same great food and service. Biscuits and Gravy are #1. Egg Muffin Sandwich with Ham #1. Chocolate Banana Shakes with real Chocolate Ice Cream!!!
Whatever you do, DO NOT order the fish n chips. The fish batter is all wrong, and they overcook it so badly it tore up my mouth and I had to pull off the breading. Worst battered fish I’ve ever eaten. I felt like they were telling me they don’t like me and not to come back. The fries were pretty good though.

They have great breakfast and excellent burgers! Prices are very reasonable, everything is always fresh and well prepared.I used to go to this restaurant very often 20 years ago, back when worked just a few blocks away. After my visit last weekend I see nothing has changed, it's still just as good as it was back then. :)
Best french fries in town! The team at Nick's offers a 2-pack burger special (2 burgers, 2 drinks, and a ton of fries) for $9.99 that can't be beat. And the staff is friendly and they make you feel welcome. This is my favorite independent burger place! (PS: Coke Zero Sugar fans -- they carry it here.)
Clean attractive place the wet burrito we had was very tasty and it seems they included mushrooms and if that is true it wasn't listed on the menu and it's not something I like. Also had a gyro which was tasty as well. Ample parking space easy to access through the front or the back. Pleasant counter person and cashier. We would return again. Burrito white large took part of it home for a second meal. Same for the gyro which we had leftovers enough for a second meal.
I had the soup and half sandwich. Pretty good for fast food. We were able to eat inside today. Great service, clean.
