We love the food but the service needs improvement.We were told that neither sushi nor rolls would be served because the restaurant was so busy. After we ordered, we saw people around us receiving rolls. Nobody told us of any updates. We did want to order a tempura roll :/
Kopan ramen has been one of my go-to ramen places in OC. The staff is friendly and service is attentive. I only come here for ramen, drinks and some side dishes so I can't comment on the sushi. The menu has good prices. Overall this is an easy going place that's worth visiting
Love love love this place!Came here with a coworker and just enjoyed how much their food is outstandingly good!Just only a bummer they didn't have Takoyakis, they normally sell them and they apparently sold out. But it's ok, another day another attempt to get them marvelous tasteful delights! ???
Sushi nigiri rice was really hard; it was undercooked—I thought I was chewing some sands (knowing the rice is the most important for nigiri to experience the fish to the fullest, This place didn’t have much professionalism). Their service was also inattentive. And this one male Asian sever had an attitude which was too displeasing enough for us to enjoy our dinner. It was my second time but first to try my fav—nigiri—but I’m definitely not coming back here despite being super close to my house. We still got a 10% off when we addressed this critical issue, but knowing that we still had to pay 90% for this ridiculous “sand sushi,” we were pretty unhappy.
Casual and cozy spot for ramen. Not too crowded and service was friendly. Food was just OK. Would recommend the spicy miso ramen, but the other ones weren't that flavorful. Rolls were very cold.. rice and fish didn't seem that fresh. Overall it's an OK spot for quick lunch, but there are some better ramen and sushi spots in the area.

They were out of albacore and yellowtail belly but their tamago was delicious as well. Their noodle style isn’t my favorite but their broth really makes the ramen. Also music was AMAZING. Had to ask the staff for their playlist and they were super sweet about it.
The Koro Ramen is very nice but I would expect the pork to have a little more belly. The noodles are outstanding in taste, texture & flavor. The pork based soup with garlic oil & garlic is very delicious! Combine toys with Scallop hands rolls, which need more Mayo and a few other rolls like: Sapporo, Alaskan and Mango Salmon (my least favorite of the trio) and You have a delicious late lunch!I encourage EVERYONE to TRY THIS PLACE!
I really loved the set up of the place. Today i tried the sushi very delicious i had the baked lobster roll which melts in your mouth. I also ordered a spicy tuna hand roll it was a hefty size and delicious. Unfortunately I ate them before getting a picture?. I really enjoyed the environment. The staff were very friendly and attentive❤. Cant wait to try their Ramen on my next visit.
This place is amazing and the ramen is always on point. I love the little plaza it is located in because it almost feels like a little corner of Japan. The waiters are all very nice.
This Ramen shop honestly has a great atmosphere when you walk in and has very nice people serving the food. I've come here over the past 2 years and their quality of food has generally been amazing as well! What's frustrating is the amount of times they have gotten my order wrong. I usually order the Kuro Mayu Ramen or the Spicy Miso Ramen, I don't substitute any of the items in the ramen, they just give me a completely different ramen altogether. This has happened 3 times already, but all their ramen tastes good so I haven't complained.Today, after I ordered a ramen To-Go, I was excited to dig in, but when I got home, I opened the soup base container and saw this black, burnt and chalky liquid. This has never happened before, so I don't know if they have a new chef or if there just isn't any accountability for the quality of their food now, but I'm super disappointed and annoyed.Summary, they honestly have great food in general and nice people working there, but the service and quality has been lacking more and more. Will be looking for a new ramen place from now on.
