Got the wings caramel soy and spicy flavors with shake fries, and these were some giant pieces. Sturdy take out packaging to eat at home. Delicious sauces, great overall
Went in with an expectation that it was going to be good and Holdaak blew me out of the water! The Seoul Spicy chicken sandwich packed some serious flavor and the addition of pickled radish completely changes the game! Their fries are some of the best I've ever had and pairs really well with their chicken. Members of my party that ordered other items left feeling satiated and wowed! Just wished that they would introduce an item that is a LOT spicier.
Upped their prices for sandwich combo while giving you less. Food is still good but this is like the 3rd time in a row they keep shorting me on the chicken tenders in the sandwiches. I got one tender in my sandwich this time. It’s like they gave me the slider instead of the sandwich.
Tried it for the 1st time this weekend. I couldn't tell if the guy at the counter was helpful or annoyed with my questions. We went with the caramel soy wings and they were delicious. My daughters went with chicken strips..1 spicy and 1 original. The chicken is white meat and its very juicy. Perfect amount of breading. The come back sauce is spicy but good. Fries were also very good. Id say the wings were the best...A little over priced but Id go back...Why were people wearing plastic gloves while eating? I think we missed out on that
I can’t believe I would ever write this to my go to chicken sandwich place. In 2018 ive tried its spicy chicken sandwich and the fries combo. I was completely shocked cause the flavor just exploded in my mouth like a frag grenade. Also I can taste it’s umami right from the start, and the fries are cooked to perfection that compliments the flavor of the chicken sandwich. I’ve never thought radish and different variety’s of veggies can make this sandwich way ahead of its completion, until now. I came today looking forward to it since I haven’t ate here for almost two months. The moment I walked in I was shocked how the place has changed and the menu items are completely different. The prices hiked way up than its original 12 dollars combo meal I think. I’ve noticed right away that the chicken Pattie’s that were used were just small chicken tenders which lacks its flavorful punch. The fries seemed like they just bought it to the local target which lacks its original seasoning. Also it’s comeback sauce rose from 0.25 to 0.75 cents now. I didn’t see the receipt since the cashier never bothered if I want my receipt. Hopefully holdaak can come back to its original glory cause before I keep telling everyone that this will put Chick-fil-A in the past. I will come back again soon and I will be fair and give y’all a second chance.
I love Holdaak! Great place with bar stool and table seating. If eating in a large group I'd suggest eating outside at the tables. Food is made to order and comes out very fast! The tenders are always a good and filling size. Tried their new flavors recently and was absolutely in love! The caramel soy is delicious and I'm not a spice-eater otherwise I'm sure I would've loved the Seoul Spicy! Prices are affordable! Each tender meal comes with fries and toast(: overall, a very happy customer!Also so glad they're able to be open all days now!
Ok, so this place had me itching to try their wings. Was curious if they would give BonChon some competition. They have a simple in-n-out style menu. Portions are hefty. Prices are reasonable.Store wasn’t busy, and the staff appeared like they just didn’t want to be there. The place looked clean, until you sat at a table and it was sticky. No matter how much we tried to wipe it down, it remained.Definitely order the fries and radishes. We only got wings, but look forward to trying them again for their sandwiches. The photos from others look amazing!Parking is easy.
More or less i just feel uncomfortable coming into this place since they dont really tend to have good customer service, or really even make you feel welcome. if it was just robots, this would have been given a 5 star, since a robot cant mess something like that up.
Went to the Tustin street location and was very disappointed with my most recent visit here. Ordered online and got home & see that the spicy chicken strips were about half the size they normally were. This has been my go to place for Korean spicy chicken strips and sandwiches until now. If I ever order from here again will definitely check the order before leaving the restaurant
Just the right amount of heat. Fries are very good as well. The 5piece tender can feed two people easily.
