Delicious as always! This place is my go to for Nashville style hot chicken. Pro tip....Check your order before you leave. I would say about 80% of the time they forget to put an item in the bag. It happened again last night, otherwise it would have been a 5 star review. Love you guys but you've got to get that problem resolved!
I’ve ate here about once or twice for the past month and a half and I San honestly say that the food was really good.Let me get this out of the way, the first time I ordered a milkshake I wasn’t satisfied. I felt like I was drinking blended ice with condensed milk. It wasn’t blended properly at all.(If you want a proper one go to jacks, that’s where I work?. We also sell lemonade and tea, but you don’t see is using it as a selling point, just saying??♂️)Once I went in to get a grilled chicken sandwich and waited 17 minutes when the cashier said it would be about 5 minutes.Other than that every time I’ve ordered the chicken has been fresh and hot. Once I even got a piece that still had steam and juice inside. The fries have always been cooked properly and they’re always hot. The staff are really nice and patient. Especially when you get confused about the heat level. The bathrooms are also really clean.Good place to eat just be careful with the milkshakes and be prepared to wait for the grilled chicken sandwich.
This is a hard one to rate because I so wanted it to be a 5 star place but a few things just didn't warrant a 5th Star. The bun was good the chicken was very crispy and the beading was very flavorful. The part that fall short was the chicken itself, it lacked any flavor I thought what a shame they didn't put a little bit of spice on the chicken before it was breaded, even some salt and pepper would have helped. The macaroni salad was very good but there was not much of it for the price.
Just went here with two other friends and they had similar experiences:The waffle fries and soda were the best part of my meal.I got the original spice (wasn't spicy, just smoky and reminded me of chicken mole) which had an interesting flavor, if on a generally better sandwich I'd have enjoyed it more. The chicken was dry, came with all the pickles stacked on one side and not layed out, the slaw was a mound, the bread looked fluffier than it ended up being, and the sauce just did not taste good (diluted, overly sweet, ratios generally off).Other than the presentation being great from a glance, I'd be embarrassed to suggest this place for chicken sandwiches.
We like hot chicken and are always on the look out to try new places. Unfortunately, we were not too impressed by Clydes. We ordered a family pack which has 4 menu items and we were allowed only one heat level. Didn't make sense..a whole family doesn't necessarily have the same heat level choices. I would really rethink this one.Number two, the food was cold and the fries limp and not crispy.
I have a love hate relationship with Clyde’s in the 4 times I’ve been I’ve had mixed experiences the first time I came the food was 5/5 but then the drink they gave was horrendous like it had no syrup, I came again two weeks later and it was the same issue with the drink. When I came today the drink issue was fixed but the chicken was pretty flavorless. TLDR they gotta up the quality control
I visited Clyde’s for the first time 1 month ago and had the greatest experience thanks to Elijah! Not only was he personable but very attentive in detail as to what flavor would best suit me. I appreciate all his effort and will definitely be returning because of him! Food was good too.
This is my first at Clyde’s chicken at the city of Fullerton and 100% will be my last time. Reasons: the buns are bought from the shelves to the costumers STRAIGHT which is super cold. Unacceptable buns. Chicken: was precooked maybe 3 day to 1 week ago, maybe? It’s not even warm. The didn’t even cook the chicken themselves. Third, once we walked in one of the employees asked us to put on a mask while on the hand there were 2 different costumers who did the orders without mask just fine (*ps: I’m not against the mask rule*). So, in all do NOT go there. Do not waste your time do not waste your money. I’m not sorry for this comment ???
This restaurant is delicious! I think it took over my old favorite “ Chick-fil-A”. I still love Chick-fil-A though. But this spicy chicken sandwich has a unique flavor. BOMB!! The chicken strips, seasoned fries, Mac salad, ARE ALL GREAT. And don’t forget about the Waffles - super good! I believe it’s Tennessee style. You can order different spicy levels, or non-spicy. We go with hot as cluck. Service is good. Located in Down Town Fullerton - which is very cool. Highly recommend.
Stopped in for quick lunch at the Fullerton location. Naturally, it gets busy real quick but the team us on it and wait times were minimal and worth it. I got the Clydes Original with Waffle fries and a Dr. Pepper. Satisfying, flavorful, and filling!
