This place had the best customer service!! A worker named Ana who works the afternoon shift was extremely kind to me last night, after a long day of work and school I was super stressed and just wanted to get a quick bite to eat and she was so positive and helpful, she made my night a millions times better! Thanks again for your kindness Ana you will not be forgotten?

Not impressed… I ordered cheese enchiladas and when they were done the cheese was still cold and not melted on the inside. When I took them back to the counter the “chef” just put my styrofoam container in the microwave to melt it. Then when I got it back there were holes in the styrofoam where it had melted into my food… also the dining room was hot. Run the AC when it’s 90 degrees outside ???

Good food for a good value! The chile relleno & chicken flautas are my favorite...I'd definitely order them both again! The chile relleno was one of the best I've ever had with tons of cheese and a tasty, thick sauce...they even removed the stem! The chile relleno tastes good even after being refrigerated for 5 days & being reheated in the microwave! The flautas contain lots of yummy food for a great price! Chips are good. Both red and green salsas are spicy and good. I liked the refried beans and rice. My kids got the cheese enchiladas. The nachos have TONS of marinated steak, so $12 is a very fair price. I would definitely order from here again if I'm in the area and craving Mexican food!

I've been coming here for years. Even before the new management/staff, never had an issue, till today. Long story short, I drove all the way home, kicked off my shoes and sat down, ready to devour my food, only to realize its the wrong order!smh I've never been the type to always check your order before leaving the drive thru, thats not my job! So when I drove all the way back to Alvaro's to explain they gave me the wrong order, I was suprised when I heard, "You want a refund or remake your order?", my reply was "Both!"smh As you can guess, I didn't get both but, I got my food and some extra tacos. Though, I doubt he would've threw in the extra tacos if I didn't make a fuss.smh What really upset me the most is I didn't even want a full refund with my food (as most restaurants do), I just wanted a partial refund, which is fair! Again, I've been coming here for years but sadly, I think today is my last time smh✌

Thought I wouldn't like this place. They're usually very expensive for what you get. I actually made a mistake in thinking it was an Alberto's, and went here because it was convenient. Probably was an Alberto's before because it looks exactly like one. But make no mistake, this place called Alvaro's is way better than Alberto's.It's about the same price, as expected, not cheap. Maybe $1 or $2 more than to get full at Taco Bell. However, the flavor it right on the money. These people care. And when you taste food like that, you don't think that you got ripped off like the other Mexican fast food chains. The carnitas isn't just carnitas, it's really good carnitas. The Adobada is damn good. I didn't even know I liked that much. That's all I've tried so far. I'll be back to taste everything else.In my opinion, coming from living for years in L.A., and having tried every other Mexican fast food, and dine-in Restaurants in Fullerton, this is the best for real Mexican food fast food in Fullerton - by far..I don't need to go anywhere else.

The carne asada fries are the best in the country, hands DOWN. I go here for the super fries, tortas, and meat burritos. My only constructive criticism is I'm not a fan of the tacos or the wet burritos, but the others are a 10 top notch ??

Omigosh. This place is AMAZING. My mom and I stumbled here after searching for open fast food places at midnight. Total happy accident, think I finally found my favorite Mexican food in Orange County! Will definitely be coming back with great frequency. Food is great and the people working there are friendly and really damn good cooks! ❤️

Every visit we have made to Alvaro’s Mexican Food has been a great experience. The customer service is top notch, and if it weren’t for us living far away, we would definitely visit more often. We had the chicken and asada burritos, and a quesadilla so far. Tastes great and they have a drive thru which is super convenient, especially late night when you’re trying to grab a quick bite.

Ordered a carne asada burrito. Just tortilla, meat and watery over onion guac. The quesadilla was stupid greasy, the meat had no flavor.

Burrito and enchilada combination plate is pretty good.
