This place has really gone downhill since the last time I was here 10 years ago. The food was great, but the place was very dirty. There was food in the crevices of the chairs and on the chair cushions, food on the table and grill as if it had not been wiped down after the last guests, and we weren't brought to our table until 45 min after our reservation time. This used to be a very prestigious restaurant, but now it's my last choice.
I've had every Teppanyaki place in Fresno and this hands down is THE best. The place is dark romantic setting. We started off with soup it was flavorful and had mushroom scallions and a little bit of noodles. That broth alone had me excited for the actual entrée. I got the Jumbo prawns and pork tenderloin. And my husband got steak and chicken. Ricky our Chef was fantastic! He cook the best steak I've had out in a while. I happy danced the entire time! My next date for sure!

Used to be our favorite place to dine, however the last few times there it was horrible service. Last night we sat for 2 hours before cook came to table. Sushi came towards the end of the meal. They have lost 2 more customers. We will not be back.
5 pieces palm size sushi for 20 ? Over priced. Paid for cali, a tempura roll and Philly for 74 dollars ! Not the servers fault for doing their job. But would I spend on bake mussels for 2 pieces ? Lord. Jesus. Host are only being attentive to the teppanyakki placing wait list for an hour not calling for names or awaring customers on the amount of time needed to wait. I mean there are a few who were willing to wait 2 hours ! That's ridiculous. Same going for the sushi? Fcfs. There is a line and no wait list but if you see a table serve yourself? But how though! We as customers can't clean and know we're the dirty dishes go ?♀️ should have kept the location back at ricer Park.
Great and fresh-tasting sushi prepared in very large portions. That being said, you may want to hold off on ordering two rolls until you finish the 1st one. Luckily, you can also order rolls in half portions for half the price. The miso soup was a little too salty, but it had large chunks of tofu and was still satisfying. The service staff was also very polite and very responsive.
Food was expensive for such a small portion compared to other Japanese restaurants. Sushi was good but a little expensive as well. Other places are better with better prices. I would not come again.
Used to be my favorite place in town until I sat for 2 hours and did not eat dinner. Got appetizers but after that no one came by and the chef wouldn't come over.I understand being busy but after I watched 3 parties come after me and leave before me I realized they didn't have time for me.Hoping it improves but I won't be going back anytime soon. Happy to say the manager was receptive to the feedback.
