We’re so happy Toledo’s reopened in this new location. Their albondigas is hands down the best of its kind in a north-Fresno restaurant. I know I’m not alone in that assessment. We love some of the enchiladas as well as the fajitas. Salsa is spicy and fresh. Lots of tasty drinks. It’s just good food and very friendly wait staff.They occasionally are a little slow, and sometimes the owners sit in the corner during dinner service — that’s a little odd. But we really enjoy coming here and hope they continue to do well. Maybe they’ll even actually open the bigger location next door one day.
This place charges full adult prices for kids meals. 11.99 a meal with no warning or prices on the menu. You won't know until the bill comes. Completely deceptive and not worth the price. The kids meal is the same price as an adult meal but less food.
Food is delicious - walked in 2:45p for take-out, but no menu on counter @ Cedar/Nees, so had a short wait until counter help arrived. Also. a little expensive @ $35 for appetizer & 1 main course, but overall a B+ - bigger portions, please!
Has been a regular weekly stop for my Family, often go with friends.....today was a bunch of new faces , orders got a little messed up but no big deal....but what IS a big deal is all of our party today (7) became ill immediately after eating....nothing tasted as usual and had a "odd/off" flavor. We will not be returning and advise others to avoid this restaurant completely.
Very delicious food. Price is great for the amount you receive. Staff very friendly. Fast service. Definitely will be back.
While shopping I over heard that Toledo's Mexican restaurant was open at the corner of Nees and Cedar and we had to find out for ourselves, sure enough it was open and first things first, the salsa. The Pico de Gallo salsa is as I remember, ? hot but hot enough that keeps you wanting more. As you can see we had the fajitas, sopes, Menudo, ceviche an asada burrito ?. The plans are to move over the the building across the way in the near future, can't wait!
Glad they opened back up and new where I live, always loved their food and service. Just in for a couple Tacos and Beer!
Ordered online and picked up to take back home. When we opened our plates at home we were very disappointed with the portion sizes. The rice and beans was about half a serving spoon each. The section of the Styrofoam box was only filled about halfway for both rice and beans. The Chile Verde wet burrito was small and had little meat in it. And the carnitas chimichanga was very small, it resembled a thick flauta more than a traditional chimichanga size. We also paid extra for the carnitas as it is a premium meat choice here. So to pay extra and receive such a small entree was disappointing to say the least. Overall, the pricing was expensive for Mexican food. We will not be ordering from here again.
Professionally dressed staff, food was delicious and reasonably priced.
