The Gouda Morning SandwichServed on a toasted ciabatta bun with gouda cheese, our house made tomato aioli sauce, fresh sliced black forest ham, a fresh cooked egg, spinach, and red onion. Was amazing! My sister in law was visiting from Washington and they did a week long Road trip through California and she said that was the best breakfast that she had the whole trip! Very Good-a!
I came here when they first opened years ago and I kinda forgot about them because I really thought they were just average. I wasn't a fan of all the yellow and it just seemed kinda low end. Wow, have they changed!! Totally remodeled with better espresso/coffee than they ever had and all the yellow is gone. I also understand there may be an expansion coming soon? I am so glad I came back to open my eyes to all the changes. If you haven't been here lately, come check it out.
Great coffee, oat milk, excellent service!!! Today I built my croissant with tomato aioli, turkey, gouda, avocado, spina, tomatoes, onion, it was deli!!!
The coffee here is so good and the customer service and atmosphere is worth stopping for as well.
I left this review on Yelp 2 weeks ago. In the last 15 days I have been to this spot 5 times!! It is out of my way, but I simply don’t care!!Since I have visited this spot many times in the recent days, I have noticed the compassionate culture that The Mug creates! The other day the traffic was CRAZY! The gentleman taking my order notified me that the kitchen was slightly backed up and my food order would take about 10 minutes. NO PROBLEM to me at all. I will gladly pay for customer service, great tasting coffee, and food any day of the week.I went in today and I found my go to gal, Taylor. She of course greeted me with the sweetest smile. She recognized me from weeks prior, and like before went above and beyond to make me feel special! I appreciate the culture The Mug provides and also the amazing customer service skills your team has. I know this post is a little deep for a post about a coffee shop, but you don’t get this kind of 5 star service many places anymore. I will find ways to go out of my way to be a regular customer here from now on. It all started with me stumbling upon the shop and having the best experience with Taylor. Now, I feel at home. Thank you all so much!!
Woah! The first time I interacted with The Mug was at a Recovery Summit at First Street Church. Michael and his company were generous enough to donate hot beverages and pastries at this event. Walking into the shop in Northeast Fresno, we were greeted by oldies music and a modern coffee shop and bar. We were also greeted by the owner, Michael, who is extremely personable. He was kind enough to ask for our names and broke down the community’s favorite breakfasts and pastries. In the near future, they will be hosting Sober Friday nights filled music, comedy, and art. Pro tip: Michael’s wife bakes all of the pastries.
Punch in the Face was delicious. Reasonable prices and great baristas!
I've been here several times. Their flavored coffees are great and they have excellent coffee cakes, & pasteries. I make sure to go in anytime that I am in the area.
I’ve lived in the area for quite some time and always noticed this coffee shop but never took the time to stop by. Well, yesterday I gave it a try and OMG literally the best coffee shop I’ve ever been to! I absolutely love the “Punch in the face” drink and Their “Gourda Breakfast Sandwich” I already went again today because My husband and I loved it! Best customer also what I also noticed that I loved was the workers knew almost everyones name walking in. I love that cause it gives more of a “You’re not just a customer type feeling”
Coffee and food is delicious and customer service is great. Glad we stopped here. You can also order from your table with their QR code and it's very simple and easy. A good place to hang out and relax as well, they won't make you feel uncomfortable.
