Been looking for a sushi place for months here in Fresno. Today I tried Sushi Day for the first time, and have to say it was awesome. The fish was fresh and the Sushi chef was awesome to chat with. I will be back soon!Update: have been back 2 times since my first review, both times the food has been good, but nothing like the first time. Very average. I'm leaving my review as 4 stars, because the first time was awesome.
It is hard to find nigiri that is made with love. This place always puts a lot of love in their food. The sushi nigiri lunch special is my go to and I never leave disappointed. Better than any of the clovis sushi restaurants.
Polite staff, and sushi rolls are delicious. Love the house salad and edamame but the iced tea is a hard pass. Still recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi.

This is our favorite sushi spot in Fresno. Staff is competent and friendly. Rolls are delicious. Spicy edamame and spicy baked mussels are our favorite appetizers.
This is the best kept secret in town. They have the best service, amazing food and its always up beat. If your looking for the best sushi and amazing prices this is your spot, just watch out for the plum wine it sneaks up hard ?. Weather we dine in or order to go were never disappointed, food is consistent and we never think "it was better last time".
Came in to Fresno from Las Vegas on business and found this place. We went based on the reviews and it was fantastic. The hot mama roll was our favorite and the upgraded wasabi kills! Check it out for sure.
A place for affordable and good sushiGreat place with friendly staff. The ambiance is modest but the food is very good. Very quick service with friendly staff. We tried the salmon lovers, the orange blossom, and spicy roll. All of the rolls were very good. Will definately go back.
My family has frequented this restaurant a few times and at first everything was fantastic but last night we ordered takeout and the sushi when we got it home had a terrible pungent odor. Sushi should NOT smell! Sushi should be super fresh however, today it was not! Needless to say we will not be returning to this restaurant. I don't care if a restaurant has the bomb sushi a hundred times and out of that hundred times serves me bad sushi just once that's one time to many as there are several health risks associated with spoiled seafood as fish contain parasites and bacteria that can cause severe diseases. Quite disappointing as we are total sushi connoisseur's and thought we'd found the one.
