We really liked it. A properly cooked meal is worth the wait. The meat was fantastic, the service was top notch. Not to mention we brought our rambunctious four year old daughter and she was well accommodated and not lost in the ambiance. She could be a child within reason as well as enjoy their food. The bar is gorgeous and we loved the wine cellar theme to the dining area. Can’t wait to go back and take others. Highly recommend.

Inside is beautiful very romantic looking in the bar. The drinks were very good. The food…… the bread is just the same you buy at the grocery store for under 2 bucks nothing special. The steak had no flavor and it was a very thin piece of meat. Lobster was good little over cooked(the only thing from my dinner I really liked). The prime rib nachos not the same at all from before. Now for prices. Drinks reasonable for to the amount of liquor that’s in them(not complaining about that). I ordered the steak and lobster for “market price”. I got the rib eye. Now obviously their market price is triple market price because lobster right now is $34 a pound and rib eye is $14.99 a pound. I had a salad baked potato (small potato) and sliced zucchini. My dinner alone was $126 (just the steak and lobster dinner). I will no longer go there. What a rip-off. The place sounded like a sports bar. Definitely not the same Richard’s. I can get that same meal with flavor and a bigger steak at cattleman's for half the price. Don’t waste your time take the drive to Selma if you are wanting a steak and lobster dinner.

Richard's has been a Fresno icon for decades. If you're looking for a great steakhouse with a fully stocked bar and classic 70s steakhouse ambience, you will like Richard's. The interior was remodeled a few years ago and it really freshened the place up. The neighborhood is a bit sketch, but they do provide security outside at nighttime. One of my top 5 steakhouses in Fresno, and number one for prime rib.

Excellent food. Service was awesome. Most of the eateries on the north end of town pale in comparison to this place. Theres a reason why places like this have endured as long as they have. They "got it right" ... an added plus - the proprietor was going table to table . Nice guy! A must if youve never been there. Not cheap, but well worth it!!!

Richard's Prime Rib & Seafood is a long time staple in Fresno , CA. The food here is absolutely delicious ? . The presentation is beautifully done. You can always tell how good your food will be when you order a salad ; the greens and vegetables are fresh and crisp ? Richard's did not disappoint on it's food whatsoever. Personally , I do not like to write anything negative about any establishment , however, the waitress we encountered was very rude. We did not remember her name < she was an older woman , with short blonde hair >Her attitude towards me personally went from bad to worse throughout our meal. Never in any review, have I had to complain about ANY staff member ever ! ? Needless to say, we did not tip her! < our bill was close to $200 , and we usually tip at 20% > This woman's attitude should not get in the way of anyone going to this establishment however, because the ambience and food are well worth it.

5/5 Food and service was great! They also have security that watches over the parking lot. The security guard even opened the door for us upon entering the restaurant. As we entered, we were greeted by several people letting us know they’ll be right with us, everyone was working their tail off. We didn’t even wait a minute before someone came and took us to our table. The gentleman was super nice. Food was AMAZING! Waiters/waitresses were on top of it! As well as the bussers/hostess and security guards. This is easily one of our favorite places to eat in Fresno!

A 1970s-80s throwback steakhouse in the best possible sense.Dark, no windows, tasteful naked paintings of women on the walls.Delicious prime rib and service was ultra friendly and attentive.Highly recommend frequenting Richards regularly.TIP: Go with someone and order the $69.99 dinner for 2. It comes with wine, soup, salad and a shrimp cocktail.

Me and my Wife had an early Valentine's dinner. She had never been to Richard's before,so I took her there. The food was Superb and the service was Excellent. The manager Ben so helpful and gracious host.If you never been to Richard's steak and seafood you're missing out.Thank you to all the waitresses for the prompt and friendly service...and the Great Food....

My wife and I came here on 01/26/2022 around 5:45. We sat at table L3. Evelyn was our waitress. She did an excellent job. I personally have been eating here for years. My wife has came only a few times but the food was always worth it, until our last experience. The chicken was dry, they were out of lamb, and the green beans were canned. Really sad. Not sure what is going on but definitely not the quality and service we are familiar with.

Baked oysters were so good had to order more. Steak and prime rib cooked to perfection. Service impeccable. Going back to try the rack of lamb.
