We ordered both lunch and Dinner . I had the special of the day. Not knowing at the time it had Olives on it, I am allergic to olives. When I asked her what was on it she did not mention Olives. I tried to Remove them but there were SO MANY. I COULD NOT EAT MY LUNCH.And for Dinner we wanted lasagna but they only had one. So I took the spaghetti & Meatballs. It was very dry. Not enough sauce. I've eaten here for years. I use to come more often when I lived in the tower district but I moved. I was not Happy on this occasion. I DID NOT ENJOY MY FOOD.
Had the spicy sausage sandwich and it was delicious. My wife ordered the turkey and cheese sandwich and was happy with it, but said she would forgo the wax peppers next time. Ate at one of the tables out front and enjoyed it.
Piemonte's sandwiches are the reason to go. My wife and I call in our order and split a Piemonte's Special regularly for lunch. Quality meats and the right kind of rolls. And while we are there we pick up a pound of Parmigiano-Reggiano and maybe some pecorino Romano. Sometimes it's also sliced prosciutto or a hunk of pancetta. It's a legit Italian deli.If you don't call ahead, the wait can be a little long at times, though I think they've got nothing on Sam's in that category
came in from Salt Lake City on vacation and found this gem! their piemonte special sandwich was great and the atmosphere was literally perfect, I will be back!
The sandwiches here are great! Highlights are their meatball sandwich and eggplant parm sandwich. Love their selection of home made frozen pastas and sauces, and their pizza dough makes a great pizza!
Besides the Tower Parking which is hit and miss. Piemonte's is my new favorite Italian sandwich and pasta place. I compared it to Sam's Italian Deli sandwiches. An Sam's Italian Deli sandwiches is not the same like I remember it. Piemonte's got the size of bread right, price is right and the taste is heavenly.
It’s an old Italian deli with a new woke message that greets every loyal customer as soon as you walk in the door. A stern message that read as if it came straight from gruesome Newsom’s hair gel infested face, stating; “Do the right thing, get vaccinated or wear a mask”. When I informed the aloof girl, who still can’t remember my name after all these years , that the sign was political and I didn’t appreciate it, she just shrugged and said, “it’s not.” I stated, “the vaccinated can still spread the disease and the mandates are over.” She appeared to get agitated with me and said it was just something the owners decided to write. I’ve been a loyal customer for 40 years. My family has been getting food here since I’ve been around. I spend 70 dollars every time I go. However, now they’ve decided to throw their hat in the political ring, I will no longer be a loyal customer. If you are a Republican and are against tyrannical leaders and mandates, eat somewhere else. Put Piemonte’s out of business. They deserve as much with their virtue signaling message boards that should read “soup of the day.”
Best sandwich out there hands down. Bread is a very important part and they have the best not over loaded thick like other places. Piemontes special is the best!
