Teppanyaki Sushi Bar

The rolls were nice sizes, neat and tightly rolled. The restaurant is a good size but not for for a very large party (5-6 people is perfect). The service is good, the atmosphere is Tuesday. If you like sushi you'll enjoy this restaurant. If you like tepanyakki it looked clean and like they were having a good time.

This restaurant is not a real Japanese restaurant. In fact, the owner, the cooks, the servers, the cooking style are all Chinese! The foods taste more like Chinese foods than anything resembles Japanese. For those who don't know the difference it's OK. The value is low here as the quality of the foods isn't very high, but it's a bit pricey. The seats are very uncomfortable because there's absolutely no cushion! The owner got cheap? Teppanyaki here is mediocre at best. But again, the bill would break the bank.

I had a reservation for teppanyaki but when I arrived a couple of annoyed girls told me that I have to wait at least 45 minutes to get seat. I decided to seat on a regular table instead because supposely (as waitress stated) the food was identical to the teppanyaki. We order a couple of teppanyaki combos and they bring pretty much everything at same time (so it is not like the teppan). The food taste was honestly below the others teppanyaki in fresno and the service wasn't that great because, as I stated before, the waitress were annoyed and try to rush us to leave (I wasn't even at half plate that they bring me the check). I don't think I'll be back.

Went for my son's 13 birthday. Had teppanyaki and the cook was awesome. The food was delicious!! Bacon fried rice was on point! And the rib eye was juicy. We will definitely be back.

I went in today for lunch attempted to stay close by work. Food not as pictured. Their was hair in the food box. Upon returning to resolve the issue without asking for money back.I am still extremely hungry at the end of my work day. It was like gang busters as I explained what happened during lunch I had two waitresses and a server standing in front of me like deer in headlights. This place lacks the luster! For a teppanyaki place in Fresno their usually overcrowded this place is not.Hint… Service is mediocre to say the least and the food for lunch was horrible! The sauce tasted as if it had been sitting in the back for years. Couldn’t tell if the protein was chicken or some other animal.Don’t waste your time there’s a better experience a few blocks up the street.

Went there for lunch at 2pm. We got our food at 2:30 and in the middle of our lunch they turned off all the lights because their lunch service was done at 3. There were 2 other families in the restaurant at the time asking to turn the lights back on because they had kids. The waitress simply ignored the request until a different waiter came and turned on the lights. (word of advise, if you deliberately turn off the lights while customers are still in the restaurant and someone gets hurt, that's a big liability issue). Other than the waitress trying to rush everyone out, the food was good.

This place is ?? great! So why only 4 stars? Well NAMI has this sushi rotating shelf where the sushi comes out on plates straight from the kitchen! Each plate is a different color indicating a different price. My son and I had so much fun watching the food travel around us as we picked out dishes. Unfortunately since COVID 19 this amazing food distributor is out of order. As soon as that is back the 5 stars will appear. The staff is very friendly and hard workers. We go here at least once or twice a month. Really nice place to take family and friends!!! Check out the times they are open because I believe the close for lunch or a break in the middle of the day.

There are now many teppan-yaki places in town it is hard to pick one to go to. Nami was a great choice for lunch with the family. We were seated and served with only the three of us, really appreciated not having to wait for a full table. The lunch trio gave us a bit of everything and they actually served New York in it. Everything was well prepared, seasoned and cooked like we wanted it. We had blue fin tuna sashimi and it was fresh and delicious. Next time we come we are going to have to try the A5 wagyu, where else can you find it in Fresno?People have noted the service was slow and inattentive but I found it to be the opposite. We will definitely come back again!!!

Food was good...but they really need to do better as far as cleanliness and customer service. Had hair in our food and was given a dirty shot glass with lipstick on it...when brought to the hostess' attention, she looked at it like she didn't know what to do then laughed about it with the server as she walked away. Won't be going back.

The sushi was very good. We actually ordered another roll just to try a different one. Shaggy tool was awesome. Staff courteous and Helpful. Will return
