We stopped in to check this place out while the teenagers were visiting the Zoo. Cute little place downtown. Great place for 1 or 2 before or after an event!
A great new addition to downtown Fresno!! We went on a Friday night and they were packed however we were able to get a table quickly.Their cocktail menu had a wide variety of selections with something for everyone. It was super cool that they even hard a chart describing the drinks in terms of boozy level and originality. Within our group we had 10 of the 15 cocktails and the favorites were: Hawaiian Tux and Cloak & Dagger. You cannot go wrong as every drink we had was well made: balanced, not overly boozy and refreshing.I cannot wait to see what creations they come up with for next time. Will definitely be back.
Very cool ambiance. Presentation is everything, here. Unfortunately, presentation stands above taste. Many of the drinks on the menu taste bitter because the alcohol portion is very high. However, they will make you anything you want if you want something specific that is off menu. It is also a very small space inside; maybe enough seating for about 25 people.
Stopped in for a cocktail while I was in town for Thanksgiving. This place was DECKED out for the holidays and had a great seasonal cocktail menu. My Gingerbread Old Fashioned was perfectly balanced. Delicious. Service was great and staff was super friendly. I'm sure I'll be back next time I'm in Fresno.
Best cocktails in fresno. Seasonal rotation, skilled staff and great service. Was just in and had a couple of Yippee Ki-Yay Mother [email protected]*ers off their Xmas menu. Forever killing it at Modernist.
Our group was in Saturday night for a cocktail. While the wait was a little longer than usual for the drinks to arrive we know the intention of this place is to always serve a great cocktail with equally great customer service. We will of course be back.Note: If the seasonal cocktails are not for you, please try something off of their more classic menu.
Festive, fun, cozy, awesome - what a perfect place to spend my birthday! Love this place every time we go and yesterday was no different. We even bought adorable club glasses (they have so many cute ones to choose from!) to enjoy our at home holiday beverages. A definite place to stop and we even went next door to the taco truck and grabbed a tasty selection of tacos and burritos to share. We had an awesome time and they could not have been nicer! We will be back soon - our happy place to celebrate milestones or just a Sunday evening!! ♥️??? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Miracle at Modernist is adorable. The drinks delicious, and the staff/bartenders great! Highly recommended going here , and not just during the holiday season- any season :)
Honestly, I use to love coming to the Modernist because the customer service and drinks were always great. HOWEVER, in the last couple of months the service level is not how it use to be. The wait times are approximately 30 minutes just to order drinks and our waiter never comes back. Please let it be how it use to be, it looks like once it’s successful now they don’t care.
I love Modernist. The drinks are fantastic and creative and the staff is second to none. Highly recommend!
