One of the best tri tip sandwiches in fresno
I order the Tri Tip Sandwhich with a soda and some Frito chips. I also added chili beans with my order. Very good chili beans . The best Tri Tip I've ever had.
My favorite been coming here forevaaaaww love the consistency and sane taste!!!
Food is good nothing you cant make at home and for 1/3 of the price.
Meh it’s ok. $10 for a small tri tip sandwich which is overpriced and dry!
Pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and side of pilaf and beans were amazing ????
This was my first time ordering from this place. Customer service was very poor. The woman who took my order was extremely rude. Not only was I standing outside for a few minutes without even being acknowledged with NOONE in line, I asked for one of my orders to be a combo and instead of asking what side I would like, she stared blankly at me as if she didn't hear me & then rudely said "if you want it to be a combo, I'm going to need to know what you want for a side". I didn't know what a combo included! It was my first time there! After she took my payment she didn't even tell me where to go to collect my order! She handed me my receipt and closwd the window. I had to ask, and when I did she seemed to be real bothered and told me to just go stand behind the building. Whether or not it was my first time ordering and whether or not you knew, customer service should always matter. My company was thinking about ordering our lunch from here for our employees but after this experience, we'll take our business elsewhere. Doghouse grill serves a great tri-tip sandwich, this experience totally ruined a meal i was really looking forward to.
Tri-tip sandwich is as good as any in Fresno.
So darn good. Simple....best meat in the world. Best bread in the world. Best sauce in the world. Yum!
I gave in to the hype after reading all the reviews and decided to give them a try. I went there today and ordered one jumbo and one regular tri-tip sandwich with a side of chili beans and a coke. When I got my order finally, I glanced in the bag and they forgot one of the sandwiches. I told her right then and there. The girl went back inside and said here you go, sorry I left it on the counter (you think). Then, I advised her I had a coke as well. She said he didn’t give it to you at the window? (as I’m standing there with nothing in my hands) and told her no. She said to meet her at the window and she gave me my drink. For such a small order I don’t get how they can screw up that easy. So, I get home ready to dig in and noticed there was no bbq sauce in the bag (you got to be kidding me)! So there goes another star. The food was ok at best. The sandwich tasted a little salty to me but still edible. My jumbo didn’t look that much bigger than my wife’s regular sandwich. The chili beans tasted like they came out of a can and not home made. Over all the service and attention to detail sucked. The food ok. Nothing out of this world to drop everything and go out your way to eat here. I’m also not of a fan of the small menu. Mike’s grill should change the name to Mike’s Tri Tip, that’s basically all they have to offer.
