Everything was really tasty and came out super hot. It took a while to get seated because they had 3 couples taking up the large tables just to sit by each other. So that was a little frustrating. But it’s well worth the wait. I had the pork soup dumplings and the steak and peppers. It was great.
Love this place. I usually get the bacon fried rice and crab rangoons. Both items are so fresh and delicious. Just recently tried out chow mein w/ chicken and it was delicious. Give em a try.
I made sure I never forgot to put a review, I went to this establishment three days ago with my girlfriend trying to have a good time. It seemed OK and find out I was going to be devastated. When we made our orders our drinks had sink residue lined on the mouth of the glasses; they made sure that we received our orders after people who came AFTER us knowing that we only ordered a small amount. Once I received my portion Of the order I found a stray hair in my dumplings and who would have known what could have been in my girlfriends order later on because they were taking forever to bring her portion …we ordered the same thing. We decided to leave as soon as possible because we didn’t want to wait any longer for their disgusting food.
I'm from bakersfield and it's my first time trying dumplings and they did not disappoint! Everything we ordered was so delicious. The beef chow main is super good. The string beans and the hot beef soup were so good. They do serve you a lot of food. So the price is worth it. We will definitely be coming back.
Wow!!!! Was really impressed with this place!!We can’t get authentic steamed dumplings where I live in Missouri so this was a real treat.The steamed pork dumplings were amazing, we also had chicken & noodles, green beans, and the BBQ pork buns. Everything was very tasty and wonderful.My only issues - the restaurant was massively disorganized with stuff everywhere and our food took forever even though we arrived right when they opened at 11am and were the first people there it took 30+ minutes to get our food.The staff was friendly and I would come back!!
Came in for dinner and was sat quickly. No music in the restaurant only a very loud humming from a refrigerator. Food all on the floor and the place seemed kind of dirty overall. Watched the waitress dig in her nose with a napkin, put her mask back on, touched her cell phone and then took food to a table without ever washing her hands, gross ?. We got up and left.
XLB filling smelled expired/old. Beef noodle soup was bland and smelled like tap water. This wasn’t one unlucky time that I went, it’s every time I’ve gone. Why did I keep going? Cause I actually wanted to try to like the dumplings. Service was fine, actually amazing for 1 waitress, I commend her hard work, literally running back and forth. I she probably doesn’t get the tips :(
This was my first time at Little Fat Dumpling and I have to say my experience was quite enjoyable. The food was on time, hot and fresh. We arrived as soon as they opened and were their first customers of the day. They service was kind , polite and attentive and made sure we wanted for nothing. The soup Dumplings was exceptional and up to par. Will definitely be visiting this spot again in the near future with more friends!
I’ve been blessed to eat in some of the best Chinese food areas in North America; Vancouver and San Fran China Town for example. I’m not kidding when I say this is one of the best that I’ve ever had. It’s very hard to find a mix of high quality flavor and ingredients while still tasting authentic and Little Fat Dumpling hits it out of the park. I had the Spicy Shrimp Soup, Pork Soup Dumplings and Steamed Bbq Pork Bun. Everything was 10/10. I will be back here many many times.
Little fat dumpling is a Chinese restaurant where you can actually watch them make the dumplings from outside the window. The food was extremely fresh as they cook it to order. I enjoyed the hot green tea, and I especially liked the chicken bacon fried rice. The hot oil was flavorful with the shrimp dumplings. Excellent service as well.
