Two of our orders was incorrect, it was probably the ear buds the cashier was wearing. Then our papaya(which was suppose to be cucumber) had waaaay too much crab paste, extremely salty. Truthfully, I was very disappointed. What I liked was the bubbles on the pork skin
The owners are so nice! The food is super tasty. I recommend the beef and sticky rice plate and the pork belly and sticky rice plate. I've only tried one pho type and that was super tasty as well. Fried Chicken and sticky rice is good as well. A few people post about oily food, but the fried chicken and fried beef we get that comes with sticky rice, has been just fine. It's fried in oil so no matter what there is bound to have some kind of oil. The pork belly and sticky rice, I have gotten it where my plate was not oily and sometimes I get it where my plate seems overly oily. BUT, pork belly has fat, there's bound to have oil from both fat and being fried in oil. So that doesn't bother me. But, if oily, fatty things bother you, I don't recommend to get the pork belly. (;
Close to my inlaws and good for a quick pinch! Staff is friendly and acts like they want your business which goes a long ways for me. Plus they have good raw beef larb!
What was supposed to be a quick grab and go, ended up being a 40 minute wait!!! And get this, it was only for two orders of steam rolls. This was a bad first experience.I saw their Facebook post of packaged deli goods to go. I stopped by for steam rolls and banana sweet rice wraps. I ordered and paid. Was told, there were no more steam rolls already packaged. I'll have to wait 10 mins. Fine, I can wait 10 mins. One of their guest who was already dinning in when I arrived came to the register and ordered more food to go, steam rolls being a part of it. They put her ticket in front of mine saying she was there first and told me it'll just be a little more wait time. While I look at the time stamp on my ticket (3:18pm), I noticed it said STICKY RICE. No, I didn't want sticky rice. I wanted the banana coconut sweet sticky rice. There was a misunderstanding, so my sticky rice was swapped for eggrolls. Fine, I wait some more, as I've already paid and cannot go elsewhere. I needed to get somewhere after grabbing food. The whole time I waited there, I observed about 8 workers running around in the kitchen. It's open, so I'm looking right into all the action. 1 guy in the front and a lady who's clearly the owner. Some were working, some were eating and some were just walking around. The owner was also running around between a table she was eating at, to the front register and also the kitchen. They have no system. The cashier takes the order, then yells back into the kitchen with the order. It was very chaotic. One staff came out from the kitchen eating something with his hands and then straight to touch the cash register. Not even kidding. After seeing how long I waited, the owner gave me a free mung bean dessert to make up for it. It was a nice gesture, but doesn't equal to the ridiculous wait time for a two item order. It was my bad, I allowed myself to wait that long. So... to conclude, I probably won't be back.Steam rolls- DRYEggrolls - Soggy as it was pre-made, sitting inside the heater.Mung bean dessert - no comment
The food was great!! We got raw beef laab, papaya salad, chicken combo, pork belly. It was delicious overall. The service was good. Prices were beyond reasonable. Definitely will come again.
Foods were good. Smaller portions for the prices. Service was ok; the lady owner was nice & accommodating but the others not so much. My faves were the Thai-Boat & pork bellies! Wasn't a big fan of the nam-khao---no flavor.
Got laab, chicken and rice, and kapoon. All tasted really great. The Pad Thai was soggy, tho. It was not pleasant to eat.
OMG the pork belly is so good. Perfectly fried, skin is crunchy but not teeth breaking. Lots of meat, the thin layer of fat melts in your mouth. Dip is good too but not required
**THAI BOAT REVIEW** SORRY TO SAY, BUT IT WAS DISAPPOINTING. DID NOT EVEN TASTE LIKE IT, BUT MORE LIKE PHO. THE JUICE WASNT THICK, DARK NOR HAD BLOOD IN IT. THE JUICE WAS VERY SALTY AND WATERY.
I counted 5 employees with no mask on. Not even the cashier. I get it we're in a pandemic for almost two years, people hate to wear mask. I believe if you're working around food it should be a priority to wear a mask. Now getting to the food review. The food was okay. The service was fast. The place looked clean.
