First time at this restaurant. My friend likes their Curry. I thought it was good for curry, but I'm not a curry person. The texture of the vegetables was bomb though. They give you so much vegetables for like three people. The bowl of rice is portioned for 1.5 people at best. I enjoyed my sushi. I wanted a caterpillar but they don't make theirs with tempura shrimp so I ordered the next best thing. The potato sushi was fire. Never had tempura sweet potato sushi roll before. The service was slightly underwhelming.

It’s always an eventful time at Hino Oishi. The teppanyaki shows are fun. Teppanyaki is a unique and satisfying treat to enjoy once in a while. The flavors are addicting and mouth watering. Try to reserve if possible. It’s a hit and miss with the wait times. If the wait time is long we tend to go to the bar and have a few cocktails to pass the time.
Great place and excellent service
First time coming here since I visited and it was good. I ordered the New York Steak and Shrimp and two tail lobster. It was good! Our cook was great as well. Great experience! Definitely recommend!
I've heard a lot of ranting and raving on Facebook about this place so I had to go check it out for myself to see what all the ruckus was about and it was a good choice on my part it is located on the main level they have outside dining the wait was very minimal but you have to be there early the menu was beyond excellent teppanyaki was great I ordered myself a bento box well worth the money and I will be back again I highly recommend this establishment for fine Japanese food I had an awesome experience for my birthday... I will be back again
Food and Service was very good. We had a variety of foods and although the place was packed, service was very good. Chef was very funny and we all had a good time. Would go back to this place. There was plenty of free parking and there are a variety of restaurants nearby.

I want to start that this is my favorite place for sushi. They have interesting mixture of really good rolls and really perplexing rolls.I had their teppanyaki before and the one time I tried, I remember thinking from rice to meat it was salty and since then I’ve only ever gone back for sushi.We typically ordered our favorite rolls and picked one or two other rolls to try. This time we picked three new rolls and it reads like it could be interesting and we were wrong.Bad idea—Atlantic Naruto (all that cucumber)Indi 500 (it was plain)Ika Mika (the orange chicken topping was so sweet and overwhelming)These three took away from my usually favorites.
This was our first time ever eating at a teppanyaki restaurant and we had a great experience. We weren’t sure how or what to order at first but our server was very nice and patient with us. We were sort of a little inconvenient when placing an order only bc half of what we ordered could have been easier for them had we just sat dine in instead of sitting with the chef. The food was great and overall customer service was amazing. I believe our servers name was Alexus, I think she had dyed silver/grayish hair and she was really patient with us. She was super nice and sang happy bday for my sister twice bc my mom wasn’t recording the first time haha!
