Small family owned restaurant in downtown, was a pleasant surprise, their food was delicious, fresh and made from scratch , also big portions for that price ,tried their falafel Shawarma wrap , fried zucchini, fries , falafel with hummus, garlic sauce…. Ended up taking a lot for later …… if they keep it cleaner and decorate it a bit , with wall paintings and all , it will be very busy for the dine in
What a pleasant surprise!!! We called our order in and it was ready by the time we got there! The chicken and shrimp combo with spicy sauce was amazing!!! My husband had the shish kabob and he really enjoyed it!!! The food was very fresh!!! Everything was great!!!We'll definitely be back here!!! It's a great spot right off the freeway!!! Fast and friendly service!!!
So, I’m back in the area for now. Didn’t get to go to Tulare street Bistro :( , as the saying goes when one door closes another one opens. Enter stage right Gus Kabobs! Ordered shish kabobs (lamb for those who don’t know) they were delish, very good, the roasted vegetables where on point. The humus tasted very nice. The tomato, onion, bell pepper were crisp and very fresh. The lamb itself was tender, juicy but not overly cooked. The rice had a nice touch of pasta mixed in with it, making it a nice touch. Round all this off with spicy and regular garlic sauce and you have a winning combination. The food is over all 4.25 stars. As previously mentioned I am a bit of a foodie. I don’t write bad reviews only good ones, if the food is below par I won’t write one, I won’t waste my time. Overall a nice experience. Come check this place out it is worth the taste!
Truly, an amazing restaurant that should be enjoyed by all. While I was here the service was amazing and on point. I hardly even had to wait at all between the time that I ordered my meal and was served at the same time. The prices are amazing and the food tasted oh so delicious. Would recommend coming in again and then near future.
The food is so good! I come almost twice a week! Good customer service considering only 1 employee working taking orders and taking care of tables. The place gets super busy during lunch time!! Call in your order if you don’t have time to wait. It gets packed. Only 1 girl running the whole restaurant alone. The sweet girl name is Ann very helpful and friendly. I come so often she remembers my name and my order. She’s good!! They really make you feel welcomed. Highly recommend! Try the chicken fattoush salad! Delicious!
This place is the bomb!! The seasonings on the meat are on point and everything I have ever ordered has not failed to be fresh, delicious and as expected. Gus will deliver what you need!

The ladies their are sweet and care about your order, i ordered n had my good within 7 mins. It is a clean place an their rice Onpoint! Ill go bacc. Also its not hella expensive an the foid is great.
The salad lettuce was soggy and wilted. There was a lot of water in the bottom of my salad. The chicken was very overcooked and a little dry. They’re usually pretty good. Not this time?.
Came to downtown Fresno to run errands & ate here for a late lunch. So glad I did - the chicken fatuous salad is really good & they were generous with the big chunks of chicken. Ate in the courtyard & enjoyed the sounds of the waterfall & koi fish.
