Car had an emergency breakdown during our weekend trip to Fresno. The owner was extremely nice and stayed late on Saturday to get our car fixed so that we were able to come back home on Sunday. Highly recommend this place and really appreciate Arthur's help!!
Great service, went in with check engine light on and got it fixed a few days later being the part had to be ordered. Owner is very nice and knowledgeable.
Head mechanic is very nice but they charged me $185 to check my a/c, put dye for leak and refill freon. A/c went out the next day so when the source of the leak was discovered they quoted me almost $400 to replace the discharge line...I went to my usual mechanic (Reprius in Bakersfield) and paid $225.
Total life saver!! My thermostat went out as I was passing through Fresno, and I live in Sacramento. I pulled over and Googled diesel mechanic near me. I called two different shops and two mobile shops, and they all told me they were booked and can't get to me until next week. Then I noticed that Fresno Auto Center was only a mile away. I drove 5 mph to get there. I explained my situation, and they took me in, and a few hours later I was on my way home.THANK YOU THANK YOU VERY MUCH

I have been taking my cars here for years. They do great work and are fair. Will tell you when it is time to get a new car even though it will mean less business for them.
Fresno Auto Service has to be one of the best mechanics I have ever been to. Friday evening, my family and I were traveling south to the desert. It was our first getaway in over a year (due to the pandemic). On the way, over two hours from home, late at night, our car crapped out. I knew it was the alternator. We were desperate, and wanted to be on vacation. My wife called several mechanics, we thought for sure we were out of luck because it was Saturday. Artur, the owner, got us in as soon as he could (as soon as we could tow it there), replaced the alternator on our car and charged us a very reasonable rate. No BS, honest and extremely friendly. He gave us a bunch of covid masks to take with us. We arrived at our destination a few hours later, the car is running perfectly. We are so grateful there are good, honest, fair mechanics out there. I wish I knew more people in Fresno to recommend Fresno Auto Service. If I lived there, I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.
I know many people that go to this automotive shop and I've yet to find anyone who is disappointed in the work that is done! On top of that, there really awesome people.

This place was awesome. Very helpful, understanding, quick, and professional. The quality of the service we received was the best we’ve ever experienced. Definitely keeping this place in mind when traveling this way again.Our story: we were traveling from Seattle to LA in a large sprinter van. At 4 pm Fri of Labor Day weekend we called about 20 different places. Everyone was closed or closing. This place was the only place willing to help us. Huge hole in our exhaust pipe that was burning a hole through the floor of our van. They immediately got to work and fixed the problem. We just wanted a temp quick fix, welding to patch the hole. The were on it! I can’t thank them enough for being so kind and helpful. We’re so very impressed with the service here.
