5/28/2022 ... Was wanting a burrito so we stopped here cause it was the closests place ... Got home and I'm really glad I looked in my burrito before eating it because it had two strands of hair in it ... Also was made incorrectly ... Went back to the shop and they remade it 3 times the first time they remade it wasn't the correct burrito remake then when they remade it again it had avacado no beans or rice completely different burrito again ... By the third remake I stood there and watched the cook make my burrito and they almost forgot my sour cream till I mentioned it again to them and they unwrapped and added my sour cream.Honestly by the time I got the correct burrito I didn't even want a burrito anymore but they remade it 3 times so I felt bad ... I was hungry though so I just ate it.A little annoyed though because it was a very simple burrito to make ... The birra burrito no onion or cabbage with extra sour cream ....I appreciate that they offered for a refund or a remake but 3 times to make the correct burrito ... I won't be going back for a good while honestlyEmployees should definitely be wearing hairnets when making food.
My wife and I enjoy eating at El Pollo Loco. The marinade used by this restaurant chain enhances the chicken flavor.
Clean place. Employee who helped me was very sweet. $5.00 combo chicken burrito was delicious. Serranos were good n hot.
This place was so dirty the floors, the table, I took out my sanitizer to clean a table. There wasn't even in the lobby. All the tables were dirty. We still ate cause I was hungry. It was good, but the fact the place was dirty it grossed me out. And they had enough employees, they were just standing around talking. It was pretty late too.
Against other food chains, Pollo Loco does a great 10/10 job. Fast and reliable service, helpful workers, amazing food and made fast. Great variety to choose from, I'd come again and recommend.
Have tried two different restaurants- Shaw in Clovis, and Blackstone and Sierra. Recommend the Blackstone location. They make great chicken avocado salads. Delicious!!! Weight watchers friendly. Good staff.
Very disappointed. The chicken I had was old and looked like it had been under a heat lamp for days. Surprisingly the best part of the 2 piece combo was the side salad.
I find this Pollo Loco better than the one on Ashlan and Blackstone in terms of consistency/quality.
I only ordered three small tacos and a drink and the cost was about $5 the tacos were good that was my first time eating there I had no complaints
Nice staff. The coleslaw was disappointing. Very dry - more like dry tossed cabbage. No hint of dressing. Chicken avocado burrito was pretty good.
