Where do I begin. The Restaurant is nice very clean and comfortable the service is excellent and very attentive to detail. Over all this is the perfect restaurant until you eat the food.Starter$19.50Eggplant NapoleonTasty and very interesting this was the Best thing we ate at the restaurant very interesting and very delicious combination of flavor.Stilton Blue Salad with bacon$18.00Hard Little Gem Wedges with no Flavor they put a Drizzle of port reduction with 2 slices of pear and 3 Nuts the greens are half in edible because you cant really eat the bottom of the wedges.Herb Chicken$31.50Dry bland and way Overcooked this was easily one the worst tasting Chicken dishes ever had in my life. The Chicken was Butterflied and the Butter Sauce they put on was bland and boring accompanied by Steamed Vegetables with absolutely no seasoning this was a very sad display of execution on the kitchens part best thing on plate was the Marscapone mashed Potatoes. The world famous Bread Pudding( Thats what the Server said )$14A Big Flavorless piece of warm bread with a Caramel ring of Sysco Processed Caramel and topped with a flavorless Whipped Cream but they call this a Chantilly Cream (No Flavor No Sugar No Vanilla, Nothing) this was really sad. A great bread pudding is the ultimate way to end a meal and this lackluster version really reminds you at the end of the night that this place is no more than an over priced Under flavored establishment that caters to rich older folks who have no real Culinary Palate. Other than the Napoleon this is a real shame and a very disappointing night.

This place is amazing and hands down one of my favorite places to eat in fresno. Last time I was there we started out with the Mala-Insana Napoleon which is there eggplant appetizer then for my meal I had the ribeye and my wife had the NewYork. Both were amazing!!! And of course we ended our meal with the bread pudding and it was just as good as everything else on the menu. So if your looking for a classy place to have dinner then you should check out Cracked Pepper. Oh yeah and make sure you make reservations or it's going to be hard to get in.

I've been here a few times for drinks and came here for dinner this time. The scallops were great and everyone seemed to like their steaks. We would come back here again. Our service was decent. Could have been a bit better though for fine dining. Service was great then towards the end of the evening we had to ask were our drinks were. Plates could be a bit lower in price due to portions being on the small side. However this is expected in "fine dining". Could add more on a plate for $35+ plates though. There a couple other restaurants that have fine dining but do a little better regarding portion size. Nonetheless we would come back. Drinks were fantastic and well made not just fancy ingredients with too much booze. They were all fantastic.

WOW....Just WOW....OK so off the top I just want to give a shout out to our server Amy, she owned the entire experience. Her service was impeccable! So we went for a birthday dinner, didn't know much about the place. Upon arriving staff very friendly and courteous. They sat our party and I have to say, the one thing I liked was they kept the menu simple. They keep their focus on a few select dishes and it works. So lets keep it quick and to the point. So for appetizers we got the tacos and they were amazing! The mixed green salad was actually really good, not overkill, they keep it simple and delicious.I ordered the ribeye steak and it really was great. Got the mashed potato's with green beans. Lemme just say, the mashed potato's were delicious!!So there is my simple review. Given the opportunity I will go back, but you can bet I'll be asking to get seated in Amy's section for that wonderful service. All in all though, everybody working there is amazing. So 5 stars all around from service to food.Thank you to all the staff!

Everything went well. Lauren was fantastic. Food was cooked perfectly and came out unexpectedly fast. Only thing that bummed me out was their food selection. I was hoping to try something a little more high end. Other than that, we shall see in the near future if they'll take that in consideration. Thank you

We are locals and have heard many good things about The Cracked Pepper over the years, so we finally decided to make the drive over from Clovis. We were really excited about the bone marrow, but unfortunately it’s not on their menu at the moment due to shortages. Had the Napoleon, beet salad, garden salad, lamb chops, bread pudding, bottle of wine and Spanish coffee (alcoholic bev). I wasn’t that didn’t like the spread that came with the bread, and the Napoleon was just average to me. However, the salads and lamb was to die for! Finally a restaurant that lets the flavor of the lamb speak for itself! The bread pudding was good, but not as amazing as everyone says. The Spanish Coffee was amazing with great flavor. I thought the meal was a little over priced ($319 inc. 20% tip), but we were splurging, so it was fine. Service was also very regular and attentive. My hubby loved everything and would probably leave 5 stars, I just wasn’t as impressed.

Wow! The best service we've ever had! Our waitress/bartender was so attentive and always acknowledged us. We got ribeye steak and bread pudding bites....everything delicious. The restaurant itself is not as big as I thought it would be but it's very nice. Upscale dining. Gourmet plates. Our total was $88 for 2 drinks, 1 entree, and 1 dessert. Dark ambience. I do not recommend sitting by the entrance because we had the cold air hitting us constantly...winter time:/ But 5 stars for the service!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very small limited menu. Prices were very high for what we ordered. The mussels weren't very fresh, the short ribs were basically chili Colorado that you can get at any local Mexican restaurant, the lobster was huge but super tough we couldn't even cut it with a knife, the green beans were frozen, the roasted potatoes tasted stale, the mashed potatoes were good though??. The servers were friendly and fast constantly seeing if we needed anything. For a "fancy" place the floors were dirty and kinda tore up and definitely needed a shampooing. Overall not impressed and will probably not be going back.

As always great customer service and food is unique and delicious

Ate dinner last Friday on Dec. 10th. I ordered the pan seared chicken breast that was almost too tough to cut. However, the service was excellent and the bread pudding was the best I've ever had.
