I never knew I like poke bowls so much until I started eating at Butterfish. A healthy fast casual option that even has its own app. We do take out a lot and Butterfish is on our go-to list as a frequent flyer. Rising Sun is my personal favorite.
Plenty of options to keep your adventurous side interesting. Approachable choices for the non-adventurous eater. You can keep it simple or mix it up. The staff is always friendly. For what you get, the price is just right. I strongly recommend making multiple trips to find the perfect bowl that suits your palate.
I tried the Honey Nut Shrimp bowl and it was so tasty.
Workers were extremely helpful and friendly. Locations are clean and welcoming. The food here is very fresh and this is my favorite restaurant in Fresno.
First time coming here to butterfish, and I can't say that I was disappointed at all! The California Poke Bowl was probably one of the most delicious meals I've eaten in a long while! I'd definitely come back in the future to try more on the menu!
Great poke bowls, very fresh ingredients, and wonderful customer service! In my opinion, they’re better than the Clovis location! I do wish they wore little name-tags, because I really appreciated the customer service from one of their team members- he was great!

Me, my lady, and my daughter all got food poisoning after eating at butterfish. I recommend asking how fresh the food actually is. It’s been a terrible week for all of us.
So I've been reluctant to try this place because I like hot food and I'm not to into raw fish. My wife suggested we try it out and I immediately said no! A few minutes later I Google the menue and discovered that they have hit food at the friant location so we gave it a try. I was pleasantly surprised :) all the food was super fresh, healthy and tasty. I had the spicy beef teriyaki bowl and it was bomb!!! They definitely made a customer out of me. Service was fast food was great and parking g wasn't bad either. I recommend checking thos place out!
Great poke with plentiful topping choices and an array of sauces. Unfortunately their containers are not compostable or easily recyclable. Would love to enjoy butterfish and the planet.
