It was 2.00 pm when we went to Brahma Bill. We waited for 15 mins , some one who came after us got the table , not sure why .When we asked the person who(he is the only one who is serving / cashier/ cleaning/ waiting tables ) asked us to wait there he realized we were there before . So another 15 mins , got a table .(30 mins) . When we passed another 20 mins (so far 50mins ) playing I spy with my daughter , a girl came to take order . We mentioned about the waiting and she said they are short handed at that moment .We ordered Thalis and Chana Bathura for our daughter . After 20 mins (1 hr 10 mins) , my daughter said when she went to rest room she heard that girl mentioning about our order . We were still waiting ( at this point we thought May be we should leave … then again we already placed our order .. so … gave another chance ).An elderly couple who were waiting next to our table asked about their sambar for 3 rd time, ( till then since their idli was looking dry we thought may be they are waiting for their bill… ). Uncle got angry and he said he doesn’t want to eat any more just get the bill and he also mentioned that going there was a mistake and that will be his last visit to that place .Finally we got our food after 25 mins ( 1 hr 35 mins ).chicken curry was so bland , it’s like adding cooked chicken to boiled water with spices .you don’t have to be a great cook to make basic chicken .Tried Rasam( this is the most easiest recipe which anybody can make ) , it’s like hot water with chili powder , no salt .we haven’t even tried the other items in Thali . Chicken 65 - I never knew we can add that much vinegar , rock salt and butter in that recipe .So took a bite of everything( our bill was $85) and packed in to go boxes , we gave the food to a homeless person who was waiting there ( sorry man ! ). Went to a near by subway and had our sandwiches which we should have done in the first place . That might have saved us 2 .5 hours of our drive and 85$ bill.My advice to you - FIRST LEARN HOW TO COOK basic items.
Pretty much authentic south Indian Food, Honestly I’m not big fan south Indian food but my better half she like it. Only Online order and over the phone order are acceptable. There is no doubt South Indian Food always delicious. My suggestion change your taste once in a week is good. Who is Chef still mystery for me? Do you know ? Let me know
Poor service. After waiting for half an hour we were told they forgot about our order. Then they serve watery tasteless sambhar and groundnut chutney ( with traces of coconut) with soggy dosa. No where close to authentic South Indian food. People probably go here because guess it’s the only South Indian restaurant in ~80 miles.Disappointing!
They have a combination of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food and specially it is South Indian taste very nice people could hospitality reasonable prices very nice people I go a lot over there I took my friends they love to go there too so if you have not tried you must try once it's a small place but feel homely Dave
Food quality was okAs being a south Indian front restaurantI would give them 3/10.no authenticity. It felt like they just served for the sake of it. Service was ok.if u looking for good south Indian food, don't go here.m sorry but it was not good at all
The food was appropriate… quantity, quality & price….We were back to home from sequoia and were hungry the most…… hot hot punugulu… with chapathi and gravies were authentic South Indian experience…. Was feared from other reviews but this was amazingly mouth watering……
Me and my friend came at 3 pm ordered pullugulu, daal Vada & 2 masala dosa. Service was slow have to wait or tell the twice for things like water chutney. Dosa was good but for sambar 3 out of 10 .
Waiting over 40 mins just too get 3 itemsWhen I first walk in nobody Said hi welcomeI’ll be right there the cashier saw there was multiple people in line just to get helped out and walk pass us several times because she was attending the tables after 20 mins she finally came over took people order and left again then finally came back and she took my order I felt rushed when paying because she had to go attend other tables again . As I waited for the food you could hear the owner the people in the kitchen cooking fighting with each other very loud not only do they need somebody else attending the front and they mess up my Naan order . The food is okay I will not come back here because of the ridiculous wait time and many people did leave upset because of it I won’t recommend this place .
The Dal Makhni, Bhatura, and Lamb Curry Dosa were excellent. The dal was mild and comforting and I could only barely see how badly it was going to affect my cholesterol levels. The dosa was crispy and lightly sour - definitely a can’t-miss. Quick and friendly service and a quiet dining room made for a fun last minute lunch!
Our family recently visited Fresno CA and wanted to try out their dosas after hearing the rave reviews. True to the review waitress wasn’t friendly nor inviting and it took forever for our food to arrive. The real disappointment sink in after we’ve tasted dosa which wasn’t tasty and the accompaniments weren’t up to the mark. To be honest the sambar gave out unusual foul smell and the rest of chutney were meant to be shared for which they charge 10 dollars for a dosa a total rip off. The sambar was old and reheated before serving And being South Indian I know what fresh sambar tastes like. Come on I’ve been to fair share of restaurants never had food which was both expensive and tasteless. For dosa lovers who have tasted real dosa I’d stay away from this restaurant and take business elsewhere. Add to that we weren’t given menu card, nor were served with water though we have reminded waitress many times and at last kids drank from their own bottles and we drink water after we have reached the car. Not sure who wrote these reviews and we were charged with extra order of roti which we paid and decided not to discuss with the management after the way were treated. The one star is for the paratha else it would have been less.
