A great place for breakfast or lunch. My favorite country fried steak, eggs, biscuits and gravy spot, period!!!
I ordered a breakfast skillet. I asked for salsa on the side. As soon as I took a bite the salsa gave me a sour taste. It was bad. I wasn't gonna eat my breakfast because I had already put the Salsa all over my food. I was eating my biscuits and gravy and my husband then found a hair in his pancakes. That's when we decided we didn't wanna eat anymore. The owner or manager was notified and she quickly came over we explained the issue. She said none of her cooks have hair. And did acknowledge the sour salsa. She offered to make us another plate of food we declined and left the restaurant. Besides that the food is okay, pretty basic.
Classic Fresno/Clovis Ca country breakfast cooking. BJ's Country Kitchen is dang good breakfast.
This was my first visit here, I was taken out for father's day breakfast. The entire time my family and I were practically ignored. Other people that came in after us were served faster than we were. My wife's fruit was hot. Our water had no ice. I will never go there again. Other tables had better service, why wasn't my family afforded the same service? Just awful. BJ's, thank you for making my father's day breakfast a terrible experience.
I would give zero stars if possible. I was a general manager for a full service restaurant and am currently working in the service industry. I was so disgusted with the service at this facility. We were asked what we wanted to drink upon arrival. While waiting for our beverages another girl approached us asking us what we wanted to drink we kindly told her we were already helped and thanked her. When our beverages were delivered there was no ice in our water. I mentioned to the girl.that delivered our beverages that we were ready to order..... her response was " I don't take orders" ... and she walked away...we waited 10 minutes to have our order taken. I then ordered a soda. 20 minutes flew by no soda. When our food was delivered I asked my server to not charge me for a beverage I didn't receive..... my fruit was hot because it had been sitting under the headlamp.... I didn't want to complain so I just didn't eat the fruit. We were through with our meal and needed a box.. we had to send my son up to.the front to get a box. This was our first and last time going there. And the foul service ruined my husband's father's day breakfast.. do better hire experienced staff
Had a great breakfast today, as normal. We split a Veggie 3 egg Omelette and it was plenty. The service was great.
Food is fantastic, well-portioned, service is friendly and staff has great relationships with regular patrons, adding to the quality home country vibe. Coffee is always full, clean tables, no matter how busy they get. Tried something new at the recommendation of the waitress, glad I did... And the biscuits'n'gravy are just like we do back home in the South. Great find!
The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is outstanding & the food is delicious. The biscuits are made from scratch, you can tell by the fluffiness of them & there's no shortage of gravy poured on top of the biscuits. We had breakfast & it's always delicious. You know it's good food when there's a line around the building. Get there early, they close at 2 or 3pm.
Cold coffee and no flavor cream, coffe cup dirty.. second time! and they take for ever to take the order both times.. rude workers looks like they hate their job...how miserable!
The food was tasty and hearty! Sheri was an awesome server and suggested the chili Verde omelette which was fabulous. Also, all the staff and customers were so friendly and happy. GREAT PLACE FOR FOOD OR REPLENISH THE SOUL!
