The best Ramen establishment I've ever been too and we've been to a lot. The service is great and the atmosphere is serene.
The black garlic ramen is absolutely delicious! My wife, our daughter and I would come here weekly when we lived in Fremont. We are on our way to visit family in Newark today and going to come here for dinner. I'm writing this review because of my excitement to eat here tonight. It's a hidden gem.
Gotta try their broth! The best in the Bay Area.

I tried Iekei Ramen else where before, tbh this one doesn’t taste like what I remembered, but overall the broth is still great, and the chashu and soft-boiled egg are perfect!

There was a place in Union City with the same name so I'm assuming it's same owners. Ramen broth seems slightly different but less salty than before, which to me is a plus. Nice thick slices of pork (not rolled pork belly). I find the default noodles a little too al denté but you can order "soft," and they also offer thin noodles. Black garlic has plenty of the oil and slices of garlic, more than any place I've been to.
The place is hidden in the area, but the space is big and clean. Service is fast. Nice soup.
Flavorful soup and noodle has good texture. Their signature ramen is the spicy one with 4 levels of spiciness. Nice open layout inside, service was good. I'd rate it 4.5 if half stars is an option. Might have lack of parking in front during busy hours, but there are places to park at the back, a short walk away.
