I live in San Jose but had been a regular at this hole in the wall when I lived in Newark. Still go there when I visit family in the area!
The edge of the whole to-go container was contaminated with black material, presumably soot. As soon as customers walk out the door they start gossiping about them. I have boycotted this place. The broth from the wontons were so caustic it corroded the spare change that I had left in the plastic bag with spilled broth.
Locally made! Generous portions at low prices.
I like their salt and pepper chicken and fish. Their roast duck is very tasty too but may be a little oily to some people.
