Passing through as we went from Texas to Oregon to visit family, we like to try out restaurants that Gordon Ramsay helped. We had several different dishes and we all loved our meals. All the meats were juicy, tender and full of flavor. Staff was really nice. Atmosphere is beautiful. We had one small hiccup that was professionally handled and that's all we could ask for. It's really great here. If there's anything under par, just kindly inform them and they will redo it. Easy. Truly a great place and so much better than any chain.
Was there Sunday 2/13 for dinner for the first time. Ordered Prime Rib and it was horrible. In addition to being overcooked, it tasted less like beef and more like pork. Not sure what happened, but it was very disappointing. I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone. In fact it has been a long while since a restaurant's food disappointed us to that degree.
Such an awesome place!!!!
With over the top service and friendly faces, Spin A Yarn's staff make you feel welcome the second you step through the door. That, paired with the fantastic food (I will always recommend the chicken marsala), makes it my favorite place to be in the Bay Area. Perfect for dates or just treating yourself to lunch at a classy steakhouse.
Food is not very good. Chicken Marsala had no flavor, chicken was NOT tender and mashed potato couldn't have been real mashed potatoes, tasted like boxed. The bright side was the side salad (bleu cheese), that was the best part of the meal. Likely not to return. Service was better.
Celebration of life event for my beautiful mom Tillie who joined my Dadv on his birthday. The service, food, was exceptional .special thanks for the servers who were very accommodation and special thank you Saki who made it possible we all had a beautiful time . Food was delicious!
Customer service was outstanding. The filet mignon was excellent, cooked to perfection, great quality meat that they let speak for itself by not overdoing the seasoning. Way better than I expected.
1. Good food. Their steak sandwich for lunch is good.2. Wait staff that is well trained3. One of the few non-chain restaurants in Fremont4. Good well-stocked bar (these are becoming not too common)
Let me start by saying that the restaurant was dead. The bar top seating was only half full, and there were employees walking around everywhere. My fiancé and I sat in the bar area for 20 minutes without being acknowledged at all. We had planned to get a drink in the bar then ask for a table for dining, but we didn’t even get that far. My fiancé went up to the bar top twice to try to order us drinks, both times he was completely ignored. He even tried to get the attention of a waitress who was passing through the bar, but that was also ignored. The employees seemed much more interested in talking to their regulars than helping first time patrons. Don’t go here unless you want to waste your time and patience being ignored. I would give a 0 star review if I could.
The owners and staff gave me a very warm welcome. They have the best food in town!
