Flavorless food, Arrogant staff, and badly maintained restaurant.Although I had a good experience last time I visited this place, the most recent dine-in was a disaster for many reasons. We checked with the restaurant if it was open late and they asked us to kindly come 30 mins before closing time. As soon as we came in the waiter was just too cold and arrogant in answering what was available and what was recommended. They serve us stale food and when asked for to go box we were given already used box!? Haven’t seen that ever before. The restaurant doors were kept open and it was windy. People from the banquet hall are requested to leave from the main dine in area. That meant it was fully crowded all of a sudden was just plain bizarre. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant at all.

I have tried 3 different Sakoon restaurants and never got a disappointment in terms of flavor n taste. This time it was Fremont one. My family first ordered two appetizers (Chaat Papdi n Saufia Paneer) and they loved both in taste. Only thing is that papdi was less in Chaat Papdi (lol). We found the main course very tasty as well. We asked for green chili on side to add more spice but they offered another dish (some salad) which I didn’t understand.Side sitting is compact and not comfortable but middle ones are better since you can adjust the chairs. My reviews are mostly because of taste.I would like to return whenever want to eat tasty food.

We visited on Mother's day for buffet lunch. Despite making a reservation beforehand, their management was all over the place. We waited for 15 minutes to get the table, once we got the table, waited another 15 minutes to get a high chair for baby. The place seemed to be very congested and tables placed very close by not allowing for easy access to get up and get food frequently. Also, after getting the curry from buffet station, we had to wait for a long time to get the bread. So it everything went cold by the time the naans arrived. So all your appetite has died down. There was just too much chaos and the management and servers totally overwhelmed. The food was tasty so kudos to the chef. But the management can do better.

Entered during supposed peak lunch hour on a typical Tuesday, but was greeted with a restaurant that's completely empty except one waiter. Despite the sheer emptiness, had to wait 25 whole minutes for my paneer and naan. The food wasn't even that good. The service was also practically nonexistent. Had to walk all the way to front to get the waiter's attention to place my order. The only time he seemed to remember that there are guests in the house was when he came to grab the check that I haven't had time to sign.

We went to Sakoon in Fremont for family dinner and had a really great time. The food is amazing and what made the whole experience even better was the service.I would like to specially mention Diya, manager at the restaurant who made the whole experience even better by being very kind and considerate of our needs. She was nice to accommodate a table of our preference as we had our grandparents with us.She even made sure that she stopped by our table and ensured our food was as per the expectation and that we enjoyed our evening. We will definitely come back soon for another great evening.

TL;DR : Great restaurant, great food, great management. Beware of the DJ !We organized a birthday party for our kids at Sakoon's party hall, this weekend, that went extremely well. The food was great. We had requested for a vegetarian menu. The management was very cooperative and helped us to customize one of the dishes as some of our guests did not prefer one of the vegetable dishes made of aubergines. All the dishes including starters were very fresh, hot and very tasteful. All our guests greatly appreciated the food. The halls were clean and well air-conditioned. The chairs and tables were very well arranged with clean tablecloths and napkins.Waiters and service were great ! At any given point of time, we always had two to three waiters ready to serve the guests. We were more than happy to tip them after the party.Above all Mrs. Diya from the management was checking on the party, every hour and ensured that we faced no problems. Both the manager Mrs. Diya and the owner Mr. Balkar were great. The only problem we faced was the call after a day of the party, from their contracted DJ - Mandeep who wanted to check why we had not paid for the Audio Visual (AV) equipment. We had to clarify to him that we had struck-out the usage of AV equipment beforehand from our party-contract and had never used it. Had to explain it to Mandeep, over a couple of minutes that he should check on the contract and with the staff before calling us.Other than this one issue, the experience was awesome - definitely recommended !

Let me start off by saying this was recommended by 2 awesome friends, so my review is biased, but both of them are indian and have superb tastes.... and this is where they recommend. We ordered 12 different dishes: 3 types of Naan, 8 plates, and 1 big bowl of yogurt to tame the spice and everything was great. Highly recommend.

The staff is not at all welcoming. They are not ok time. Buffet is suppose to start at 12 and till 12:30 they haven't even arrange anythingm seating arrangment is even bad. Overall no professionaliam. Horrible in short!

While the quality of food was really good. No complaints there. It seems to be overpriced compared to other restaurants in the area. Not sure why you have to pay a premium price. The ambience is not that great. We ordered via their online platform and it took around 40 mins for them to just get the order. We had to wait another 20 mins to get our order. The staff suggested us to call directly instead of placing the order online via their portal. If that is the case, why have the system in first place. Thats terrible service.

This place is pathetic. Visited on Saturday evening and it was a dead place. Ordered Triple Appetizer kit. Fish was stale, Chicken was undercooked and the kebabs tasted a week old. Naans were thick and rubbery and Shahi Paneer tasted yuck! If possible i would rate it zero. Avoid this place like plague. Overpriced and tastless ala carte fine dining. Thumbs down!! Dont burn a hole in your pocket. ????????
